About
Situated along the shores of the Susquehanna River, Royal Manchester Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern York County. The course is just a few miles outside Harrisburg but the traditional links design will transport you to the seaside courses of the British Isles. Like the Old Course at St. Andrews and Royal Latham, which served as the inspiration, the golf course has an open, windswept landscape with only two bodies of water. The 15th, the longest par 3 on the course, is the only hole set among the few trees that dot the landscape. The most formidable challenge comes from the prevailing winds as well as the strategically placed bunkers. Royal Manchester Golf Club finishes with a memorable view of its signature waterfall that cascades down into a sparkling pond.

This is a true links course excellent
I enjoyed it and for this time of year the course and greens were in excellent condition
This course is one of the best public courses in Central PA
I've played this course 5 times now, great for mid to low handicap golfers. Some of the holes a little tight for people just starting out playing this game. It's a challenging course with one of the best practice areas in all of Central PA as well - Come to expect nothing less from the Rasberry Golf Trail.
Great condition but difficult. Plan for 5 hours.
Stay in the fairway at all costs. Greens were very hard and fast. Only issue was they would not punch the Rapsberry Trail card if booked thru GolfNow.
Good layout
Great layout, links style, very challenging with greens that are in good shape and have a lot of caricature
After only two rounds, this has become my favorite public course.
Played from the tips the first round, and not knowing the layout of some of the holes, lost a few balls. Second round from the white markers, which makes some of the driving areas really narrow, especially hole #5. All in all this is a super track; if you can play well here, most other public courses should be not too much of a problem.

tough course
This is a course that requires accuracy above everything else. It will make you a better golfer. It would be nice to get a level lie once in a while though.
Great Layout and Greens
Played the course on a Tuesday and there was NO one there. Fairways are tight but fair. Greens are some of the best in the area. They are putting a new manmade stream across one of the holes. Would like to have seen it down the fairway instead at the tee box. The course is VERY good and the greens are super. One caution, if you are a high handicap player. Play it from the front tees. The course will eat you up otherwise and you will NOT enjoy it.
Great link type course on an inland location.
Just a great and challanging course, with awsome practice facility!
