Turnberry Golf Club
About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Challenging Short Course
The course is always in great shape! Very challenging to play - will help with your short game. Would recommend all golfers to place.
Great short game practice
Nice stretch of land nestled in an unlikely spot in Brampton. The highlight of this course is the greens - fast and true. Ideal for tuning your short game irons and improving your putting skills. Get on the wrong side of the hole and you might find yourself chipping back onto the green.
I wouldn't pay the full sticker price personally, but a deal on GolfNow or a monthly membership is worth it.
Great challenging par 3 course
A great course if you're working on your short game. The whole course is basically short game with two shorter par 4 holes out of eighteen.
There is no point in riding, so don't waste your money. The amount of times I got off the cart and back into the cart was ridiculously because of the cart path only rule that's in effect at all times.
Otherwise, great short game course.
Not a walk in the park
Most people would figure 2 par 4s and 16 par 3s means easy. Not this little course. We arrived a little early went to check in friendly greetings went to the starter he said put a little to get rid of your 3 puts he wasn't kidding. We started a little early teaming up with a nice twosome to make 4. Played blue tees. I loved the course. Very challenging well laid out. Lots of trouble. Up and down,(mainly up) Definitely a good walk. Had fun and would definitely retune.
Love this course
This is the nicest course in the area! The greens and fairways are in immaculate condition! Best par 3 course there is! The food is also amazing at Nine18!!!
Hidden Gem
A beautiful little Par 3 course in the middle of Brampton. Always in great shape you will be hard pressed to find anything wrong with this course.
well maintained course
yes this course is well maintained. It is a par 3 course and I find it a little expensive but thru golf now was able to get a deal. Plus this course is not far from home, if only it was 5 to 10 dollars cheaper I would be there all the time. Other than that it is a very good course!!!!!
Polish the Short Game
This course is what every golfer requires, a classy place to polish their short game.
Great links style golf
Always fun to play this short but challenging links style course in Brampton
The course was in very good shape and the staff friendly
I am happy this course is so close
Greens just top dressed, like lightning, no delays in play, had a great time.Clubhouse staff are awesome, Joey,Joey,Marilyn and anybody else who has stood behind the counter to book us in..beer too expensive, however, I don't care cuz I don't drink .
It's an awesome walk, good workout for seniors and young 'uns alike.
A grear executive course
The course was challenging to play but short enough to finish within 4 hours.
Very Good Course
Playing here for the first time, and enjoyed the experience.
This course is suited for iron play.
You are able to hit different irons on the Par 3s.
Would help if they were a couple more Par 4s.
Nice Driving Range. Club House very nice.
Great course
Really challenging 18 holes, great for short game practice and good for putting practice and learning to read hard greens!
Turnberry
Played for the second time today at baby Eagles Nest. The clubhouse is top notch and the bacon cheese burger is incredible, the staff are friendly and there was a gorgeous girl driving the beverage cart. The course is an executive (holes 1 and 18- par 4s, the rest- par 3s) cut out in fescue/weed-covered mounds. For me, the lack of the wood game takes a lot of the fun out of the game. The second and 8th hole share a green which is another downside. The course is very well kept with some of the best greens I've played on- super quick with tough undulations, you'll be happy to escape with 2 putts on many of them. There is water on some of the holes and on a windy day the course hits long from the tips. If you want to play a really challenging executive with a 5 star experience for a reasonable price this is where to play.
Fantastic Executive Course
Love this golf course and having played other courses in Ontario this summer the greens here are the best! The course although 16 par 3 holes demands many different shots and the use of many clubs in the bags. The greens are magnificent and present many challenging putts. getting the ball close to the flag with the tee shot is important.
Real test of links golf
We played Turnberry during the British Open to get a feel for links golf. This course is very short, very narrow and in great shape. The fairways are as groomed as the greens on many courses, and the greens are superb. challenging to stay out of its unforgiving rough.
Excellent Course!
We didn't realize that it was a Par 3 course until we got there (which explained why the rates were so reasonable for such a gorgeous course), but we played anyway and absolutely loved it. Greens are immaculate, large and very challenging.
Great course for a mostly par 3
The course is maintained like a competition course with huge greens and natural beauty. Enjoyed all the time I spent on the course. The greens were really tough and not much scope for bad shots here.
Short but quite difficult
Turnberry is a par 58 with all but two par 3's. I was skeptical since it is a shorter course but it turned out to be very well-kept and quite challenging.
The pin placement on the Sunday we played made for some very tricky shots.
The range is one of the best I've seen as well.
Only complaint was the pace of play was quite slow and they do not enforce a quicker pace. I don't think I saw a Marshall the whole day.
