Relaxing pace while playing. I did not feel hurried or felt I hurried anyone else. The course is challenging with all the turns but it makes you rethink your approach. Hole 1 and hole 8 share a green which always throws me off and I’m not a big fan of but it works out. The greens are nicely maintained along with the fairways. Great course tucked away in Lipan.

Worth the drive from the city. Not a beginner’s course. Demanding tee shots, phenomenal greens. Hard, hard track. Beautiful property. Not my first time and won’t be my last. A+.

The course is in great shape! The new superintendent is doing big things around there. Iv played this course a lot over the past 6 years but right now it’s at its best I feel . Not a great course for beginners FYI

After reading all the great reviews, I drove out of my way to visit this course. The course was extremely dry. The greens were soft and receptive but were a bit slow. There weren’t many holes that driver could be used on and quite a few of the holes had blind tee shots that suck for a first timer. I’d say this is a great course for people who live close but it’s not worth the drive if you live out of town

A hour drive for me but worth it , The course is in even better shape than it was before and with the staff that is awesome , If it was closer i would be there every week,

Lost a half dozen balls in the fairway. But found a dozen looking for mine. Bermuda was deep. Overall challenging layout but wasn’t to difficult for lower handicappers.

Went to have breakfast before round @10:30 but not open, then went for lunch at 1:30 and closed again. Unless you make the turn at noon you’d better pack a lunch.

No cart girls, old coolers with old water around the course. Bring your own amenities. But will go back some day

It's a long drive out there, but worth it. On the front nine, most of the holes go left; on the back, most go right or straight. Makes for an interesting layout.

Got some significant elevation changes - both up and down.

Overall, both greens and fairways were in great shape - even in hot August.

Greens are in good shape for the heat, holding well and rolling pretty true. Course has changed a lot since my last visit a decade ago, they have removed several hundred trees (and plan on removing more)... the holes by the Brazos have lost a little charm and a lot of the big oaks are gone now. Still a great course, a little more forgiving than it used to be, but the fairways are still tight. Highly recommended!

Greens are a little slow, but course in decent shape.

Definitely a shot makers’ course. Great layout and challenging holes depending on where you hit it. Staff is super friendly.

The course was in excellent shape. The greens rolled true. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. Can’t wait to go back!!.
