The 6,810 yard SugarTree Golf Club layout includes the banks of the Brazos River, 55 sand bunkers, water features, and challenging fairways lined by live oaks, pecans, hackberry trees, and others. Water is in play on 13 holes and you need to bend tee shots left and right. In voting by Texas PGA Professionals, SugarTree Golf Club was selected number 18 in the entire state of Texas.

Lots of character
This course is really challenging but in the way you want a course to be. Lots of character and history especially on the 10th and 18th holes. The views of the Brazos River are also worth the drive. Definitely will be back in the spring to see everything green and manicured in peak season.
Upgrades
The course is really in great shape there has been a lot of work done on areas around the course all the clearing of the brush between fairways. This has really open up the place making it seem more like playing the courses you see on TV. You are playing a course/ hat somebody takes real pride in in turn makes you feel in taking more pride in you playing there. That said it is a must play

Great course with friendly staff. Pace of play was good despite the number of people playing. Definitely will be back.
Greens were in great shape. Staff was friendly. Course was nearly empty on a nice Saturday, so pace of play was great. Overall course conditions were so-so ... more than likely due to the time of year.
Great course
Greens are in great shape and holds the ball great, but the course has a lot of trees to play with. Also, the course doesn't have but I think two sand traps.
All in all a challenging course.
Love it
This is a great course that I love coming to. It is a very nice escape from the city without having to drive too far.
A well loved course. So pretty… but tough at times. Had a blast playing it!
Great Condition
Played today and the course was in great condition. Greens are rolling true. Fairways and tee boxes are in great shape.
Great greens, staff, fairways
Great course conditions. No complaints, looks like they’ve watered a ton as everything was green. Lady in the pro shop was the best, she helped me with a tee time issue and was so kind as opposed to most other pro shop workers you run across at other courses. Will return soon.
