Very good pace of play, challenging course but overall great course

Not allowed to drive on the fairways to look for your balls

Needed backfill around cart paths

No yardages markers at driving range

No holes at practice putting green

True rolling greens, placement style course. Challenging holes. Favorite course around here.

I drove in from an hour out, and the course did not disappoint. Very friendly staff and the setting immediately had a calming effect . Practice area makes more sense than any place I’ve ever played. The range, putting green and number 1 tee are very close together. I’m not sure why that makes a difference, but for me it was noteworthy.

The layout was tough. I have never seen a course with so much draw bias,. 3 par 5’s on the front was really cool. While I didn’t play well, it didn’t seem to matter. I will be coming back very soon!

Course is in Great condition. Green super nice and fast. Wildlife all over. Very pretty location. Food really good too. Drink cart came around often which is rare in a lot of places now. Wish water fountains were on to top it all off. Great location. Staff super nice.

The course was in good shape. The pace of play was good since it was early Friday. The staff was friendly. $59 on Golf Now. Normal rate online was $72. Golf Now had us paired up with two other golfers, but the pro was able to split us up.

It’s been a few years since I’ve played, but it didn’t disappoint. The new ownership has done a magnificent job with the club house, restaurant and the course. We will definitely be making the trip back out.

Course looking great, greens rolling smooth and quick. Course continues to undergo several changes All for the Better. Enjoyed the new tee box on #8amd several new pin locations. Look forward to coming back out. I have no problem driving out from FTW to play here.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area, so much so that I will drive an hour each way to play it. Conditions could be a little better in some areas, with erosion problems and rough tee boxes. On balance, greens and fairways are in fairly good shape. So the staff is putting the emphasis where it counts.

Sugar tree never disappoints. the course is in great conditions from tee box to green. if you've never played Sugar Tree you're missing out. Even though they have built up around the course with homes. you still get the feeling you're out in the country. deer roaming the fairways, and the Brazos River flowing it a great gold environment. The Staff is great as always. I never get tired of playing at Sugar Tree,

We played today with the family and had a great time! Course was in great condition too!

Bending fairways and elevation changes paired with healthy, quick, and receptive greens. Plenty of opportunities to hit some fun approach shots for those that like bending shots and hitting stingers.

Beautiful course and great play! There are several courses for the same price but this one is the most enjoyable!

Cool track. The layout offers some intrigue. It’s not as basic as your typical course. It’s also in great condition, and good pace of play. A great value.

Great track. Good conditions. Fun layout. They’ve clearly made improvements. With some slight tweaks moving forward this place could be even better. Highly recommended.

I enjoy this course because it is very tight and you really need to think about where you want to place the ball. If you can get a Hot Deal, this course is a pretty good value.

They had put down quite a bit of top dressing onto the greens within the past few days, but it didn't seem to be a major problem to play. Due to the significant rains, the par 5 on the back was turned into a par 3. Even before that, this particular fairway was still in really rough shape however. This is the 3rd time I've played here this year, and first time eating here. The cheeseburger at the clubhouse was really good, but the people working were very busy and were not super friendly because of the rush (both on the phone to order ahead, and during pickup).
