About
The 6,810 yard SugarTree Golf Club layout includes the banks of the Brazos River, 55 sand bunkers, water features, and challenging fairways lined by live oaks, pecans, hackberry trees, and others. Water is in play on 13 holes and you need to bend tee shots left and right. In voting by Texas PGA Professionals, SugarTree Golf Club was selected number 18 in the entire state of Texas.

This course has really improved over the last several months!
One of The Best in DFW
The course was in the best shape that I can recall in my years of playing there. Greens were very fast but ran true. One of the more unique layouts that requires precise ball control. Fun layout that is worth the drive.
Had fun
It rained on us most of the and that made cart path only not there fault. But except for being wet we had a great time. It was my playing partner first time play the course. He enjoyed himsel. Will be back soon have players her at work heard us talking and are ready to play there now.
Getting better than what it use to be.
They’re improving the quality of the course. Need to manage pace of play!
A Fun Challenge
Sugar Tree is a beautiful course with wildlife, elevation changes, and creeks throughout. It is a shot makers course, so you need to know where to hit it off the tee. Some par fours will force you to keep driver in the bag. The hospitality of the staff was second to none.This course was a fun challenge and I hope to play it again in the near future.

Great greens about 10.5...tee to green spotty. Enjoyed the layout.
Worth the trip!
Had an amazing time playing this fun, but challenging course. It was in fantastic shape and if you live somewhat close to Lipan it is worth the drive.
