The 6,810 yard SugarTree Golf Club layout includes the banks of the Brazos River, 55 sand bunkers, water features, and challenging fairways lined by live oaks, pecans, hackberry trees, and others. Water is in play on 13 holes and you need to bend tee shots left and right. In voting by Texas PGA Professionals, SugarTree Golf Club was selected number 18 in the entire state of Texas.

Fantastic Course!
I’m a 3 handicap. The course was in excellent condition! Tee boxes were kind of rough but they were well placed! The fairways weren’t perfect but in good condition. The greens were in great condition!
Overall a great course that is truly enjoyable for shot makers. If you want to just drive the ball all day you will pay for it. You need to be able to hit multiple tee shots and recovery shots. I’ll be back for sure!
Looked Amazing…….Looked
It looked absolutely amazing. Unfortunately I only got three holes played because of weather that moved in but I can’t wait to go back and actually play it. Beautiful facility, staff was amazingly friendly and I am looking forward to actually getting all 18.
Solid course, good but not great conditions
The greens were in good shape, a little slow for my liking but rolled pretty true. Fairways in typical March conditions (decent) Tee boxes just ok at best. But worth the money and a really cool layout.

from the time I arrived till the time i departed it was a great day. staff very friendly and the course was in tremendous shape. greens fast and true.
The greens are great and the fairways are too Amazing for March 1st
10:30 tee time on a Friday. Lots of wildlife along with the River and Feature holes 12 and 18, all Beautiful! Played alone and i had 5 groups let me play through finished by 1:30. The guy in the pro shop told me he was new and about to have a bunch of on sale merch as well.
Course closed and I can’t seem to get a refund
This is not the golf course, but was a problem with golf now. They charged me for my round and the course was closed, so they could cover the greens for the upcoming cold front. I can’t find a number to call or even an email for golf now. I would like a refund at least since I drove 30 miles to play a course that was closed. Anyway, I would like someone to contact me on this matter. Golf now has my email and phone number
Fun day
Nice course. Some dead spots but overall enjoyable day. Nice clubhouse and staff. Good pro shop and nice staff. Nice layout.
Sugar Tree
This is my favorite course. Lots of nature with deer on the course. I like the narrow fairways and the par 3s. It’s a great course.
