Cedar Crest Golf Club
About
Cedar Crest Golf Club in Murfreesboro sprawls across rolling farmland accented with groves of mature trees. The fairways on the front nine are wide open but they become narrower and tree lined on the back nine. The greens play fast and true and they are also well conditioned. There are not many sand traps to contend with but a smattering of elevation changes throughout the golf course cause an occasional uneven lie. Seasoned golfers looking for a challenge won't find it here but what you will find is a relaxed atmosphere that is ideal for a quick, casual round that is player friendly enough for beginners. In addition to the course, Cedar Chest Golf Club offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range and a two-tiered practice green.

Family outing
Great staff, well managed Tee times, nice club house with good menu selection in kitchen.. Course was in great shape for December, greens were well maintained. Will definitely come back.
Interesting Holes/Tight on back 9
Course was in good shape for end of November. Good price for a Saturday. Got done in just over 4 hours. First few holes on back are tight so say goodbye to driver. Some doglegs where you can hit over trees and gain some advantage unless you go too far to trees on other side. My only complaint is some of golfers ahead don’t understand how to fix ball marks. My son and I fixed a couple on every hole. Hint: if your ball hits the green in the air look for the hole that is ball sized and fix it. Owners obviously taking pains to keep greens in good shape so do your part.
A sunny November day
I truly enjoy CedarCrest...
Greens are smooth, fast and challenging.
Fairways well maintained.
The back nine can claim to be “picturesque “...
Great Course
My buddy and I had a great, relaxed day at Cedar Crest golf course. The club house is nice, as well as the visual aesthetics of the property. Probably our only complaint would be the layout of the field created some problems when fields were beside each other and many parties hit out onto our fairways several times. Overall, great experience.
Great Course
The course conditions were in perfect condition! Great course will be back soon!!
Course
Teed off at about 705 as a foursome & ended at 1210 due to a very slow foursome in front of us that would not let us pass & no ranger. Tee boxes were nice but grass was long. Fairways were in good shape. The greens rolled great & were quick but NOBODY fixes their ball marks which made it hard to putt thru.
Nice course, but Range ball ....
Nice course,.
My reservation was included range ball, but range ball is not available.
Greens
Greens are very important. Looks like bullet holes They’re slow but other than that I was fine w the staff layout and the golf Course but the last two times I went all my birdies were dead before I putted. Running into bumps and bruises on these greens
Amateur
Enjoyed this course. Wide open on the front nine, but strategy needs to come into play on the back nine. It’s a lot more narrow!
