Cedar Crest Golf Club
About
Cedar Crest Golf Club in Murfreesboro sprawls across rolling farmland accented with groves of mature trees. The fairways on the front nine are wide open but they become narrower and tree lined on the back nine. The greens play fast and true and they are also well conditioned. There are not many sand traps to contend with but a smattering of elevation changes throughout the golf course cause an occasional uneven lie. Seasoned golfers looking for a challenge won't find it here but what you will find is a relaxed atmosphere that is ideal for a quick, casual round that is player friendly enough for beginners. In addition to the course, Cedar Chest Golf Club offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range and a two-tiered practice green.

This course is okay, not a great value, but staff is very friendly.
Staff is extremely friendly, even with course being packed. No Marshall so play was extremely slow. Greens were aerated which that’s just apart of it. Overall would recommend for the average golfer.
Great spot to get your game in shape
This was an early spring round on a bramuda course with greens that had just been aerated. The layout features holes of varied length and challenge, so the player gets a test of accuracy & course management. Good way to knock some rust off your game and set priorities for spring practice.
Pace of play was great
Greens were in excellent condition for the time of year and staff was very helpful in paring me with a twosome if comparable ability
No grass on tee boxes or around the greens. Ridiculously difficult pin placements on a few holes.. Over 4 1/2 hour round.
Take care #18
It's nice course I like and be able to enjoy.
#18 hole should be taken care, there are a lot of range balls on the fair way before the green.
Great course
Cart path only today due to all the rain. Water had drained nicely. The greens were a little on the slow side, probably due to the weather, but were in great condition and rolling true. Great course. If you live in Mid TN, you need to play this course.
Nice hidden gem
I really like this course. Being that it is fall/winter here depending on the day, the course has been in good shape. Will need to try in the spring/summer. Just with they would invest in some green covers so they don't have to keep having frost delays. Maybe they are not allowed too.
Fairways were in good shape, greens were great. The only problem was one of the bathrooms were locked. Other that that everything was goof
My round
The one thing I really hated was that there was no alert that was Greene we’re under aerification. I cannot stand putting on greens when that is happening. Also- a note to the staff, you don’t need to pour 20” of rain on a course when it’s in the upper 70’s. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
Great 1st Time
Great course for the money!
Course was beautiful and challenging. Nice to play and not too busy.
Decent track
Course was in good shape, but not a whole lot of character. First time I've played here while in town on biz. I may come back.
Good Couse
Enjoyed round. There are some areas that need some work. Unfortunately, I found more of them then I wanted. Divot marks on greens needs attention.
