Cedar Crest Golf Club
About
Cedar Crest Golf Club in Murfreesboro sprawls across rolling farmland accented with groves of mature trees. The fairways on the front nine are wide open but they become narrower and tree lined on the back nine. The greens play fast and true and they are also well conditioned. There are not many sand traps to contend with but a smattering of elevation changes throughout the golf course cause an occasional uneven lie. Seasoned golfers looking for a challenge won't find it here but what you will find is a relaxed atmosphere that is ideal for a quick, casual round that is player friendly enough for beginners. In addition to the course, Cedar Chest Golf Club offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range and a two-tiered practice green.

Great courses!!!!!
This place is beautiful and well kept. The new owners are definitely making improvements all around. I would love to see a better pro shop come in one day and maybe a good kitchen, but I am sure that is in the works for some day soon. Only thing that I wish could be immediately improved on are the greens and flags. Hard to tell pin location, flag colors didn’t seem to match up and the greens were kind of beat up. The green conditions were from players not fixing their ball divots so I was constantly following behind people to do mine and their part! So ultimately not the courses fault but still the only negative thing about our time.
Cow pasture
For the price of 18 holes I would have hoped for a much nicer course. The tee boxes are very shaggy and fairways have dirt and scalp marks throughout. The back nine is much nicer than the front.
Friday Fun
Really enjoyed Cedar Crest today. Course in best shape I've ever seen it in. New bridge on #9 and New Bathroom structure with drive through cover on #14 were awesome improvements. Good greens although a little slow today. Good fairways and traps. Would recommend.
Great course
Course is in great shape pace of play could improve and players should fix their divets on the greens.
Great friendly course.
I’m not sure why this course doesn’t get five stars. Friendly staff, fast play, great course. Front nine is pretty open. The back nine will challenge you.
Wonderful
I love the improvements to the course. Fairway stripes are pleasing the eyes. Clubhouse looks greats. I learn to take my medicine everytime I play here because of the trees and hazards.
Course is kept in good condition. Will definitely play it again
Fun and Challenging
Friendly staff and accommodating. Greens in very good condition. Good value for the money. Overall course conditions are good but still some rough areas if you aren’t on the fairway.
Cedar Crest Golf Course Review
With the threat of rain, my friend and I managed to play 18 holes today. We teed off around 11:50 am and finished around 3:00 pm. Cedar Crest Golf Course is in great shape, and we both had rounds in the 80’s.
First time playing here, incredible course condition
I had never even heard of this course until golf now. Great condition, I was extremely impressed with the layout of the course & it’s hard to lose a ball there... got some wooded holes but it’s open for the most part. I’ll definitely be back!!
Good layout
The course was in good shape. Pace of play was great for a Holiday. Greens were in good shape.
Great Course
We just moved to the area from Texas, and this was the first course we have played in the Nashville area. Excellent value, layout and staff. We will definitely be back!!
Remodeling!
Cedar crest is an all around peaceful place to play and practice your game. I especially enjoy the happy and welcoming staff. The remodeling is looking great!
Best it's been
I've played this course a lot in 2018 and thought the greens needed some work. Now this year the greens were amazing. Just the right speed. I could spin the ball any way I wanted.
Greens in good shape
Bill checked us in. Friendly as always. Beautiful Sunday. Played in 3 and a half hours. We be back.
Cedar Crest
