Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club boasts 27 holes of championship golf that are situated on a scenic stretch of coastline, just a few miles west of Bethany Beach. The holes are played in three different 18-hole combinations that tumble across sandy dunes and grassy hollows. The natural contours of the coastal landscape largely determined the movement and flow of all three nine-hole courses. The nines, Grizzle, Kodiak, and Black Bear, all have winding fairways bordered by native wetland grasses and lush, oversized greens that boast some of the best conditions on the Eastern Shore. The Black Bear/Grizzly combination is the longest of the three golf courses. Not only does the coastal terrain provide many natural hazards, including several water features, there are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

Always a pleasure at Bear Trap
From the beautiful course layout they have for all 27 holes to the superb warm up area and driving range, This place never fails to impress. They also don’t overcharge like most courses in the area. Great all around facility and course.

it's mid-March after a very harsh winter so it was pleasantly surprising that the course was so well maintained and played so well. Had it not been for the recent aerification the greens would have been much more playable, but hey, it was a great day and great fun. Thanks, Bears!

Bear Trap Dunes Winter Golf
For winter conditions course was in good condition. Play was car path only but still finished in 4.5 hours. Weather in mid 50's with light wind was perfect.
Bear Trap
We played on a Saturday afternoon and pace was so slow 2 hours 45 minutes, which is expected. Played the back in 1 hour 30 minutes because it was getting dark. We had dinner there, Saturday special Prime Rib which was delicious. Definitely worth the trip
