Scenic
When I read that the course claimed to be the most scenic in middle Tennessee, I was skeptical. I have not played all the courses in middle Tennessee, but I can tell you this one is amazingly scenic! The greens, fairways and bunkers were in great shape! Some tee boxes needed work, but overall good. Loved my experience at this course and the staff were fabulous! We will return!
Greens putt true
Played this course Sunday for the first time. Overall, the course is in good condition. Fairways for the most part were good. Greens were in great shape. Beautiful course it is worth the drive to play a round. Holes could be marked better and the scorecard does not give a diagram of the course.
Love This Course
I've played PB probably 50 times or so over the last 10 years, it's my default golf course in Middle Tennessee. I live in Nashville about 40 miles from the course but I'm happy to make the journey because of the combination of nice staff, challenging course and pace of play. The course features major changes in elevation which is my favorite part. This is not a course to walk, I'm not sure it's even allowed.
Pro Tip: grab a turkey sandwich at the turn
great par 3's
it was cold and rainy but the course was in good shape. Kicked up a few rooster tails in the fairways that slowed the run down some. One of the nicer courses in the north Nashville area and economical as well. Wednesdays is $24.00 all day. Cant beat that.
Good Value
Tee boxes were poor , greens were good. Overall nice layout. Rained like crazy for 9 holes but we managed.
Staff was friendly. We will come again.......
Course is nice
This course has bent greens and the fairways were flush.
Very nice, with a nice layout
I really liked this course. Not too hard but a nice challenge. Tee boxes could use some work.
Great Bang for the Buck
Greens are good, fairways decent even with lack of rain, some tee boxes need lots of work
Course not in great shape, rude staff..
So apparently they no longer give range balls with golfnow bookings even though my confirmation stated they were included. When I asked why I was told "Why give free range balls when you're already getting a discount?" The old guy there was straight up rude with me. He then told me I had a long time to wait since I was 35 mins early ( ya know, to hit my free range balls) and insinuated that we couldn't go off early when there was literally 1 other person on the course. We went off early anyway, of course nothing was said because the course was empty.
Greens were ok but many of the tee boxes are in terrible condition. Trash cans were missing from several holes and no water in the ball washers? Come on, it's May. No yardage stakes in the fairways and the markers on the path are so faded you can't see them unless you're standing on them.
I've played here dozens of times over the years and this was my worst experience. They need to sink some money in the course to get it back into better shape. I'd suggest a friendlier clubhouse worker also.
I don't like surprises!
I played as a part of two threesomes and booked the tee times for the group. I discovered after we arrived at the course that the back nine greens were being aerated and we would have to play the front nine twice to get in 18 holes. The greens on the front nine had obviously been aerated recently and still had dirt clods on the greens. They were also extremely bumpy and inconsistent. One green would be fast and another one would be slow. I realize this maintenance has to be done but certainly would like to know before I get to the course.
Has new carts
Pace of play was a little slow but the coarse was really busy so that was to be expected
Great value with some beautiful scenery!
This was an awesome course. I play everywhere and this was a little gem. It is a shirt course so if you are looking for 7200 yards this is not it. If you are looking for a super friendly staff, a well kept course and reasonable prices this is the place for you. Those people saying the staff is not friendly needs to evaluate friendly. They were over the top nice as the pro talked to us 4 or 5 times throughout the day and made sure our experience was great. Two of the cliff shots are extremely memorable.
Awesome course
Thoroughly enjoyed our golf outing! Very nice layout for golfers of all skill levels. Beautiful scenery and views. A few of the holes could have had better directional signs, especially where there was a fork in the road.

I think this course is probably really nice in summer. The layout and overall quality of course seem good
6
I have never played a course where there were six groups waiting on a tee box. Not 6 people, not 6 carts, 6 groups of 3-8 people in each group. This was on the par 3 5th. It took just under 2 hours to play the first 4 holes. Another 35 for this hole. I returned to the clubhouse after nine to get a refund for the back 9. I will never go back to play this course. It's ashame because there are some fun holes, but I'm not playing a round that could go longer than 6 hours.
Great place to play golf
I like the course a lot. Greens were in good shape for this time of year. Some of the holes have truly awesome views and I always enjoy my rounds.
Surprising course
We wanted to play a course close to Nashville before a football game. We booked this last minute and we were very pleased with the course and the cost. When we pulled into the parking lot we thought it would be a dud, but we were pleasantly surprised. The course has alot of elevation changes. The course has surprisingly quick greens. Well worth the green fees.
THE VIEWS
I REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING THIS COURSE, IT WAS CHALLENGING BUT FAIR AND A LOT OF FUN. IM READY TO GO BACK.
Convenient and great staff
I've played this course quite a few times and enjoy going here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The course has a good layout and lots of elevation change. The course is kept up well in my opinion. The greens roll pretty true considering it was late October. I'll definitely keep playing here.
Beautiful Course
My round was on a wonderful fall day, and this rural setting, in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee, was lit up with color. That, in itself, was worth the trip. And the course didn't disappoint, either.
The greens were in good shape and rolling very fast that day, with plenty of undulations to make putting the most challenging part of the round. The layout is nice, with enough challenge to keep things interesting.
One of the things I liked most about this course is the diversity. A nice balance of easier holes, followed by holes with plenty of challenge and personality.
All in all, a very nice round of golf, and I definitely will be back!
