Heritage Golf Links - Heritage Nine

The course is a challenge with the undulations from tee to green. Makes it interesting for sure. Greens were ok, most very good and a few patchy but they all rolled nice.

Pace was a bit slow on front 9 but ended up being 4 1/2 so reasonable.

Food and services were good and available at the turn.

Definitely would play again and recommend

I’ve played this course many times over the years. The course conditions are good for the year except the green complexes. The greens are in terrible shape. They are slow and in bad shape. This course could be a great track to play if the greens were replaced with a champion Bermuda grass which would help with maintaining them, especially since it gets so much public play and pitch marks are everywhere.

Greens were in terrible shape. Covered in unfixed pitch marks and blanket soft/soggy but no rain. Had to move my ball almost every green to find a line of decent grass.

Fairways were riddled with weeds and patches of dead grass. Not as problematic as the greens but for the cost you expect to play on decent fairway quality.

Pace of play was behemothly slow. At one point we had 3 groups waiting on the previous green as we waited to tee off on 17.

Cool layout, but uh oh these greens are made of soot and poo. Might as well putt over gravel I mean heavens me

This course was decent. For the cost I had higher expectations and noticed the tee boxes were in bad shape. The staff was super friendly and welcoming which made it a great experience. The course itself is gorgeous and has amazing views. Most of the other players were friendly though I had a group who got confused about my group starting the back 9 before they and questioning if we were on the right course.

If you’re looking for a place with a great practice facility look no further. Layout is great, but unfortunately the greens on course have been so heavily trafficked and abused it is difficult to recommend this course for anything else.

It’s insane how much green fees are, but what are they going to? The greens are abysmal. They’re on par with those of a muni. No water on the course at all either. Never again.

Greens are borderline unplayable. Needs a complete overhaul. But one of the cooler pieces of property in Atlanta Area. Worth checking out, but pick up your ball at the greens and just move on.

For a very busy afternoon the pace of play was pretty darn good.
