Great after the remodel - but guests need to behave better

The course looks and plays much better than before after the renovations. The only issue we had was with innumerous ball marks on the greens. It seems people can't be bothered to fix their own marks, and that really impacts the greens negatively.

Since the guests don't do it, it seems the course needs to ramp up work on the greens to fix the marks before they become permanent. It was also a tad slow for a Friday afternoon (about 5 hours, riding).

The club house restaurant and bar is excellent!

Overall great experience

We used an aerification special deal, although greens were almost healed & not an issue. We had an 8:10 tee time, they let us tee off early & we finished in < 4 hrs. Overall course in good shape, should get better. One of the better courses in area. We had a great day, recommend & plan on playing again. Wish they had a senior rate. Go play it!

Some things improved, but still a ways to go

I like Heritage and have played it for a number of years. Great layout, nice staff, and reasonably priced. The reason I’m even writing a review is for one reason only: the mats on the range. To say that they are in bad shape is a big understatement. Fuzzy concrete is the best analogy I can think of. I hit range balls and I’m fairly certain it negatively affected my ball striking.

I appreciate the changes you are making to the golf course. They will make Heritage better. But I’ve got to think that replacing the mats and getting some padding under them would be an improvement that wouldn’t break the bank and really enhance the experience. Thank you.

Needs bridge

The second hole on the heritage course has a gully that is 15 feet wide about 15 feet deep, if you hit your ball to that side, it is a long walk. Especially when they allow only cartpath for driving. They really need to install a bridge maybe halfway down or a quarter of the way down so you can get to that area since you cannot drive your car down that area when it’s cartpath only. Other than that, it is a really nice course. They just did a lot of construction on two of the nine whole courses and I believe they’re doing construction on tradition.

Incredible

One of the nicest courses I've ever played on with some of the most diabolical greens and pin placements

Nice place to play

We went here for the first time while we were visiting our son. We ended up playing the same 9 twice since the course was so busy, but we didn’t mind. They said it was their first full day and apologized but gave us the choice to play the 9 again since it would be faster. This course will be beautiful once things start turning green (we live in AZ so we aren’t used to the brown:)). The staff was great and the greens were really nice. We will be back.

Very impressed!

It had been a few years since I had played here, but I was very impressed with the changes. Many of the greens have been reshaped, making it much more playable. Green were in great shape, and the course was even better than I remembered it!
