About
The Club at Frisco Farms (formerly known as Plantation Golf Club) was created for the average golfer -- it's a user-friendly course where spectacular play is not required for a decent score. Playing only 6,400 yards from the tips and under 6,000 from the middle tees, the golf course isn't long, and it includes many par 4s that are nearly driveable. Erratic, careless play is punished, however, with out-of-bounds lining the fairways and water coming into play on a few holes. Those short par 4s in particular are all guarded by water. Two of The Club at Frisco Farms par-3 holes -- the 148-yard no. 7 and the 188-yard no. 17 -- each require players to carry water. Pace of play here is better than average because of the player-friendly layout.

Hidden gem
Friendly staff, greens in good shape. Would like to see the fairways and Rough longer. Definitely need a Marshall to improve pace of play, which will help reviews and reputation. I would like to see more ball washers on each tee, sand mix in each cart, Fresh sand in the traps, and the bar and restaurant made into more of a neighboring watering hole that can help them make money. Everybody here has good intention, but with just some small tweaks, they could really make this place great .

Plantation
Fun layout. Some patch greens and som tee boxes under repair. Great deal with golf now. No way I would pay $72 to play it. Not worth the price

Not Worth It
Left after 9 holes. Horrible pace of play and terrible conditions

Horrible conditions
Like the layout, pace of play horrible. Conditions of greens poor. Traps horrible with rocks. Fairways hard as pavement.

Has lots of potential
Fairways were in decent shape, greens were not in good shape. They haven’t been taken care of, sand in the traps was not fluffy. To add to the course conditions the driving range was closed on Saturday.

Fairways like a cart path
Greens are half-way destroyed due to excessive heat damage and lack of care.
The other half of the greens are great.
Fairways are as hard as the cart paths. Do not appear to be watered regularly.
With the requirement for pre-payment for the whole group and condition of the fairways, save you money and go somewhere else.
I used to live off of #14 fairway, and used to play the course daily. It has gone down hill in the past 5 yrs since I moved.
The younger gentleman at the club counter was rude and discourteous.

Save your money
Bad. $72 on a Sunday morning. The fairways are mostly dirt, might as well be playing out of divots all day. Greens are over watered and slow. Bar is under stocked. No transfusion! Sad! Very unfair!
