About
The Club at Frisco Farms (formerly known as Plantation Golf Club) was created for the average golfer -- it's a user-friendly course where spectacular play is not required for a decent score. Playing only 6,400 yards from the tips and under 6,000 from the middle tees, the golf course isn't long, and it includes many par 4s that are nearly driveable. Erratic, careless play is punished, however, with out-of-bounds lining the fairways and water coming into play on a few holes. Those short par 4s in particular are all guarded by water. Two of The Club at Frisco Farms par-3 holes -- the 148-yard no. 7 and the 188-yard no. 17 -- each require players to carry water. Pace of play here is better than average because of the player-friendly layout.

we gave up about 12
just crazy hot.....got to 12 and saw the guys in front were stacked...we routinely had a 10minute wait in the fairway... and they really sucked so decided to call it a day...went down the path to get back in and 17 and 18 were vacant...did not get our moneys worth.
Great course
Great course...always in great shape. Not the longest one out there but you need to hit the fairway to score well.
Homeowners in the neighborhood very rude
Homeowners were playing... six different carts match play in front of me and I was a single and did not want to let me play through.... very rude to me
Decent for the money
Ok track. Friendly staff. Fairways ok. Tee boxes need work. Greens ok. Pace of play poor.
Fun times
The course is in great shape. We finished in 3.5 hours. Just an overall great experience. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent, too!!
Nice course, makes you think off the tee
Not that long from the back tees but a lot of dog legs and some narrow fairways. Decent amount of water comes into play. Makes you think about strategy off the tee which is fun. Greens are fast and smooth.
I will definitely play here again.
Friendly Even with COVID
This course is doing a great job of dealing with COVID. They added more carts so they can give each player their own individual cart. The chipping practice facility is much larger than most. The staff is still friendly even at 6-ft distance. I liked the staff here so much I just bought a membership.
Ok except for staff
The person at the pro shop was just rude and it makes you feel like he is doing you a favor by helping you, other than that the course is ok. I haven’t been back to this course since.
Cancellation
One golfer in our foursome was not able to make it. Was not feeling well and we asked him to stay home.
3 hour round
The twosome was me and my buddy. We were one of the first groups off and finished in 3 hours. Only complaint is with practice range. They won’t let you hit practice balls until 7am which is no help for early tee times. They also use mats in practice area.
