Worth the Money.
The course really isn’t that bad. The greens were in decent condition. It’s not an easy course so if you aren’t an average golfer I wouldn’t suggest playing here. There is are a lot of creeks you have to drive over and not many bunkers. The course was pretty difficult for me the first time but second time around I played a lot better when I knew the layout.
Big pass on this
The pace of play was terrible would be my biggest criticism followed up by course cleanliness. The carts were dirty and the greens were littered with trash and the clubhouse was also dirty. Not to mention this course is laid out in a basic 1980’s style neighborhood. The front 9 was the best looking part of the course, which isn’t saying much, and the back 9 took you through a rough part of town. They need a major overhaul to get me to ever go back:
Unexpectedly Good Round
I read all the bad reviews but decided to go myself. The course is old and there is evidence that they are making efforts to improve. The greens were fair and well watered. The fairways were good. Its a. Great local course to practice . The ok ro shop person is not friendly and needs to go. He has no interest in the job and doesnt even look up . The rest of the staff was friendly .
I would play here again. Its a great value.
Rough conditions, good price
For the price, everything was fine. Greens were not realistic to putt off of. They were bumpy and torn up. At one point there were 15 people playing on the same hole. My expectations weren’t high for the sub 20 dollar round, and it’s better than just hitting balls on the range.
Not for the avid golfer
Course conditions could be due to COVID-19, so take this review with that thought in mind. Greens were a little hairy, overall pretty nice. The rest of the course... very grown up and wet. It appears this was probably a beautiful course in its day. Not bad for $80 per couple. Kinda tight, signs not well made out. Tee boxes had trash all over them and not well kept.
I Mean It’s $20
Expectations were low going in considering the greens fee was $21.70. I thought the course could have been manicured better or just mowed in areas away from the greens and dead areas. I did enjoy the layout, playing the course was more beneficial beating balls on the range. Greens were inconsistent with the majority of the very bumpy. I’ll go back, simply do to price and logistics. You can still work on your game.
Great overall course
Fun course, great layout and not too challenging but still fun to play.
Today
Good for more beginning players. We played it today due to limited options due to Coronavirus options.
Wouldn’t pay more then $15
If you want a course to work on your swing or play a relatively easy course this is it. Great for teaching someone new to golf too. But it needs a lot of work. Greens are not in the best shape they need a lot more water on the course but you have to spend money to make money and this course appeared like it was barely getting by.
Fun as always
This course is always fun and usually relaxed. Just be aware of a lot of group that play at a slower pace. Staff is always nice and considerate, which is always a plus.
