Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay

First time 1/20/25. Staff very nice! Ice bucket, ball/club washer, tees on the carts, no GPS. Open bar, sandwiches, and chips included in price! Paired with a wonderful couple from Canada! Pace of play perfect and done in 4hrs. Some tee boxes were thin on grass, fairways very good with only a couple of over watered areas, and greens were mostly slow and quite a few pocked with divots. Bunkers were hard and pebbly so palm wedge is your best club. Security guards were present but very nice! Overall it’s between good and excellent and we may play again before we leave! Challenging yet enough tee boxes for your choice. Fairways mostly wide but if in vegetation or rock areas, it’s probably lost!

I have played this course numerous times. I use to use Golf Now to book but there prices about 6 months ago doubled which I am sure is not there doing. So I use local discounts. I had not played this course in a few months because of pricing but when I got there an employee actually came up, called me by name and thanked me for coming back. All the employees except one are great. The last 2 times we played there was a woman on the drink cart was miserable. She finally made it to us on the 7th hole and I asked for 2 shots of whiskey and 2 beers. My friend actually tried to make small talk but no response and no smile, no ice to keep the beer cold and if there was 3/4 of an ounce booze I would be shocked. For the first time ever NO TIP. Did not see her again till the16th fairway. She had just served people on the green I literally had to scream to make her stop then she waited for me to go to her. GREAT PLACE ONE BAD EMPLOYEE.

6 some in front of me and did not know they were doing aerification . Did get a rain check, staff was nice and helpful! Played here before and great, would not pay to play for about 2 weeks from now!

Booked last minute, fairly high rate but course was in good shape. Not too crowded, went out off the back 9 due to a party of 17 starting before me on 1. OK set of rental clubs. Cost included an open bar which I did not take advantage of while playing but nice spot to sit and have drinks outside after. Fairly basic but nice clubhouse.

Reserved clubs for $50 got to course had to pay $75 said they were premium clubs driver head was loose had to go back to shop to repair

Played here 10 years age it was totally different

I reserved rental clubs for $50, got there they said they were $75, after starting noticed driver head loose, had to go back to replace, player with me is 6’5 asked about longer clubs they just brushed me off, driving range balls appeared to be from another era, I had played there 10 years ago it was totally different

All in all don’t think I would go back

The course was in great shape. There is not much to the clubhouse or range. The carts are also old and should be replaced with range finders. The food and beverage could also be enhanced. The course was in great shape! Pace of play great since we teed off at 1:20 pm.

Overall nice experience but overpriced for amenities provided. For a hard rock, the experienced needs to be over the top!

They said breakfast and lunch included yet the menu was basically ready made tasteless food.

There was a rest stops where they said that there was food and drink. They were all empty.

The only thing was free beer.

Really not worth the drive.

Wide open and playable. First round in Punta Cana so nothing to compare with. GPS was removed and the course has very few yardage markers so have your range finder handy. Friendly staff.

The all-inclusive aspect was light pastries and basic sandwiches along with the typical adult beverage selection for the area. Overall a fun round.

Even from the whites it's a long course for me but I only hit my drive about 2:25. The greens were very slow and not well preserved because of ignorant golfers not fixing their bull marks. The sand traps they put something in them that I guess they call sand but they were absolutely terrible and very hard to get out of and I'm usually pretty good out of traps the stuff they had in there was more like semi wet cement

Got a great deal on Golf now for $152. Given the other prices for golf in Punta Cana which in my opinion is out of control, for a rates of $150 this was a great course. New golf carts were a nice touch. Free booze and food while playing was also a nice touch. Staff was amazing. Course is in great shape and the layout is topnotch.
