Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay

Overall the course was nice. Slightly challenging, greens rolled well. Range balls included in the price as were food and drinks which was awesome. Plenty of tee box options for all skill levels. Would happily play it again.

Totally enjoyed playing this course. Great layout. Strong holes. Only pace of play became an issue. That however is not a fi ed problem. Pi ked up last five holes.

Around $125 would be a great deal for this course

I wouldn’t pay more than 150 but that’s just me

Played at 8:40am. The course was in great shape...... Other than the 1st green. They must of had a chip off or something similar and it was balled marked bad. Once past the 1st hole the greens were great. This has always been one of my favorites here in the DR. But it was HOT!!!

Not sure how it happened but with 2 holes left, we hit a big delay. 4 carts and 8 golfers. Needless to say, that made our last two holes a 40 minute challenge having to wait for all 8 golfers to play. Not sure where the Marshall was?

Front nine is narrow and shorter than the m7ch wider and slightly longer back nine. The front nine is less forgiving and you have no good misses. Back nine is more forgiving. Overall Good challenge for serious golfers with excellent pace of play

Good golf course to play at discount rate. Greens and tee boxes in rough shape. Fairways are very long specially on the back nine. Over all good course for all level

A great round of golf! Drinks and food are included which is a bonus.

The only downside is that most of the bunkers were unplayable, lots of small rocks. We would rake and place the ball as most were packed down.

Greens were consistent, some grain bot putted true. The starter was very accommodating. Played in four hours. Great experience. Played three times in five day stay. Got great deals on Golf Now!

I have played this course many times over the years and it just gets more beautiful every time I play. We did get a torrential rain storm that lasted about 20min. We it quit it took no time at all for the fairways to dry up.

Staff were wonderful. Was able to go off early and they are very accommodating. I played by myself with my wife riding. Drink cart came around the entire round and kept us refreshed.

Course was absolutely amazing visually! We arrived and the staff were really not efficient in English so the dialect was a little hard to understand and not a lot of smiles and the facial expressions were not very welcoming but not overall horrible!

We waited on a group all day after about the 7th hole, when we first seen them but at a destination course you expect that with all the tourist!

Except for the first green, they rest looked amazing and putted very true, greens were very slow and inconsistent with the speed, definitely would have had a better experience with faster greens, (they were rolling about a 8)!

As for the value, it’s wasn’t horrible, I was able to book for $235 for 2 people thru the golf now app, while the 2 guys we played with paid $250 a piece! And the club rentals were reasonable, we had 2 lefties and they allowed us to play out of 1 bag with an $25 dollar up charge!

I personally think any course that cost over 200 to play isnt worth the value unless it’s PGA quality because you can find others that are almost just as good for cheaper!

I don’t know if I would play this course again(especially at the full price of $250 per)being that I like to play different courses and it’s in another country but it definitely looked amazing and I had a very enjoyable round! If you can get it for around $125 it’s definitely worth it!

Overall the round was a 5 star. However the driving range was quite beat-up. The grass was pretty chewed up and had mostly sand to cover the surface. The range balls were covered with sand.

As well the course appeared to have a shortage of golf carts. We were given a cart when we arrived but our other 2-some had to wait 20 minutes before receiving their carts. The two carts appeared to be the oldest carts in the fleet and were quite beat-up. Our cart started giving us grief on the first hole and needed to be recharged. Luckily a Marshall came by and said we would be given a better cart shortly. A few minutes later the Marshall returned and had to give us his cart as no cart were available. Cart was also beat-up but worked except it didn’t have a working parking brake. We had to ensure the cart was always parked on a level area in order to prevent the cart rolling away.

This is one of the my favorite courses in Punta Cana. The course layout really nice. It’s challenging yet not too difficult.
