Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay

Played 1/27/2025, second time on this course. Not busy at our tee time of 12:30. Hit a few range balls to warm up(included in fee), got a new cart this time-no ball/club washer and smaller cooler. The parking brake never worked as it seems most of them don’t. Get an older cart, better equipped. Everything very good, they sprayed the weeds and there are some patchy areas on the fairways but not many! Main complaint on all the courses we played is they are all very nice except for the trash! If you’re going to be golf destination you must pick up the trash!

This was our fourth time playing the course on this trip. Really, really enjoyed the course and the amenities- beverages and snacks during the round and great socializing afterwards. The course is in excellent shape —greens are very true and the fairways are in excellent form. Pace of play was really good -4 1/2 hours and we started at 12:30. Too bad we are heading home!

I rented 8 sets of clubs for my customers, and salesmen, and the 6 right handed sets were very old and worn, the sand wedge was heavily rusted, and the putter handles were all frayed.

The course was very nice, so as long as you don’t need to rent clubs, it is good. If you need to rent, I would recommend the other option nearby courses.

First time 1/20/25. Staff very nice! Ice bucket, ball/club washer, tees on the carts, no GPS. Open bar, sandwiches, and chips included in price! Paired with a wonderful couple from Canada! Pace of play perfect and done in 4hrs. Some tee boxes were thin on grass, fairways very good with only a couple of over watered areas, and greens were mostly slow and quite a few pocked with divots. Bunkers were hard and pebbly so palm wedge is your best club. Security guards were present but very nice! Overall it’s between good and excellent and we may play again before we leave! Challenging yet enough tee boxes for your choice. Fairways mostly wide but if in vegetation or rock areas, it’s probably lost!

The course is a joy to play. It is in very good condition. The stuff members are friendly. The beers and sandwiches are provided all included.

This was our second round in three days here. The fairways and greens are in excellent shape- greens are a little slow. The drink cart comes around frequently and you can order sandwiches, chips, peanuts, etc as well as lots of beverage choices - all included in the green fee. We will definitely play it again on this trip, as long as I can get the special Golfpass rate again.

The golf course is well maintained. They also have good sandwiches and beer all included.

Everything was good except the pace was a little slow due to a couple in front of us. Friendly staff and free beer and sandwiches.

Great deal in Punta Cana! All you can drink and eat included in the green fee. Course layout is awesome. Caught up with a couple of foursomes that let me play thru. Got done in 2.5 hours, Course was in great shape. Iberostar also has the same deal with all the beer and food you can handle. The only gripe I had was the sand traps, the sand has an entirely different texture to it. Claylike and heavy when wet. Oh, and I guess because everyone’s on vacation they forget to rake afterwards…

First time playing the course and we really enjoyed it. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition- really liked the greens. Pace of play was great - we were a twosome so we had to wait a little on the tee boxes once we caught up to the foursome in front of us but it was fine. The sandwiches and beverages that were included were great. Would definitely play it again if I can get the good discount price again.

In my last review I complained about the slow greens and the condition because of ignorant golfers that don't repair ball marks. The staff has done a great job at repairing the greens and they run much truer and faster now.

Nice course good layout. But if you can't hit the ball over 200 yd for your t-shot it will be a little long even from the whites. The greens are slow The only unfortunate part is that the golfers there don't bother repairing their ball marks I repair five ball marks on every green.
