Too much Sand, too little grass
Had some interesting holes but it seemed like every hole had 2+ fairway traps and 2+ around the green. Very penal for average + golfer especially women’s tees. Greens were firm, large and in good condition, but very undulating and difficult to read. Fairways and tees were like rock with very tight lies as Bermuda had not come in. Not sure why as we play a a course up the coast in NC and bermuda fairways were a good bit better. Almost like they weren’t being watered. Tee positions were erratic, with some too short and some too long for the level of play. Maybe better later in the spring.

What an enjoyable golf course
What a course. Great conditions, undulating greens, combination of short and long par 3, 4's and 5's. You knew when you played the course you were messing with the big boys as far as designers go. 5 sets of tees. Target golf at is best. Can't wait to go back.
