Sunday brunch at clubhouse not a good idea
Although Oak Creek continues to be one of my favorite courses to play, the food options on Sunday were not very good. While the brunch seemed like a good idea on paper, it was not well received by those that were in the restaurant. Only a couple of people thought it worth the money when all they wanted was the regular menu options from the kitchen. The grilled food outside was not the same quality of the food served from the kitchen and was very disappointing. Please consider that the golfers are hungry for quality food after playing in the heat all day.
Great course but too slow
I quit after 16 holes due to back issues. As I drove off the course, I noticed three foursomes and the 17th hole with some players taking five practice swings then 8 players with four carts on the 18th green. The entire round was slow, and I suspect the two or three groups ahead of us were the reason. Why allow golfers with no clue about golf etiquette ruin it for everyone else? I know it's difficult, but a ranger or two maintaining the pace of play would have been nice.
Horrible Conditions
10 if not more fsirways smd tee boxes are in horrible condition. I dont know what has happened to this place. Im disappointed they still charging premium rates for a course in this shape such a crime. I have pics but no where to load them up.
Good layout, but fair condition
Greens were top dressed which is unusual
for June. Also, the fairways were very spotty,
even bare in some areas.
What Happened!
Im stunned at the conditions of this course tee boxes and greens on 14 holes are almost gone what happened? I can't believe your still charging premium price for the overall conditions of this golf course. I took pictures but sight will not let me post them. I will not be back no time soon this is just absolutely unacceptable.
Nice course but very slow
The course was in very good shape except for the sand traps. Other than that, course played well. Pace of play is always slow but is was especially slow on a Thursday afternoon. It was a 5 hour round.
Challenging course. Tee box’s were a little rough. Greens were quick with many divot marks.
Really nice course- but pace of play horrendous
Challenging and beautiful, if you like spending almost FIVE HOURS playing 18. So SLOW every hole had to wait at least 10 minutes to hit. Unbelievable. No Marshall onsite to move things along.
This is course is fun. Great layout!
Good course. Good layout. Have an issue charging people top end price for punched greens, no food, carts breaking down. Bought some canned cocktails and the staff member didn’t know how to find it on the system which really slowed down our turn on the 10th tee. No food other than some crackers. Staff seemed lost. Very friendly and nice people. But was not prepared.
