Great layout. Rough condition.
Fantastic layout. Makes you think. Had just punched the greens so the putting was not ideal. The green complexes were crazy fun. Definitely a course you need to play a second time to actually score.
Early Season Conditions
Grass on tees and fairways still recovering from winter. Greens have been arerated so should be rolling well in a week or so. Traps need some attention. Overall enjoyable round at OC
Not on my list
Person who work in the golf shop he wasn’t kind and also who work at the starter he wasn’t nice either and we expecting courses are nice, but the maintenance was bad and there’s people who playing Front of us was so slow I don’t know what happened. I wasn’t very happy to pay that much money and playing … And I never wanna go back to play again
Great customer service
Played Thursday 4/17 with a group of friends that travel the area and I must say Oak Creek is second to none when it comes to customer service. Drew in the pro shop was very helpful and had a welcoming demeanor. The starter for the day was also very friendly. Great course if you’re in the DMV area.
Punched greens taking along time
The greens taking long time to recover from being punched ..Pace of play was slow behind 2 4somes they seemed to he putting like it was the Masters or money was on it.
The fairways looked burned out and need done TLC .
Fairways looked burned out..
It was Cart Path only and we hadn't had rain for 2days. The fairways look dry burnt out like they need water...
Greens still effected by punch over 3wks ago..Course needs some care attention..Pace of plat was Ok....group in front slowed up a few times on first 6holes.
The main thing paying $51-53+ for hard burnt fairways and sliw recovery on greens punched .. The front desk guy charged more than golf now said due at course believe he rang it up wrong...never seen him.there
Slow moving in front same 4 somes
The fairways need some growth and greens are taking a long time to recover...The same 2 or more 4somes slow up the course and take 4ever on the greens ...I play here weekly and see the same group ..They need to be blocked or pushed along..just a thought
Punched greens
Course is in overall good shape but the aerated the greens recently . The greens are very inconsistent and look like they've been punched recently...Cart Path only so slow play vc of that and we had a single in front who ranger could have gotten them thru .....that's all !
Greens aerated last week and are recovering
We were fortunate that pace of play on this weekend was good; rarely waiting unless on the Par 3s. The grass is still brown from the winter but that also means that the rough is rather tame this time of the year. As noted in the title, the greens were aerated about a week ago and are still recovering. The tee box markers need to be refreshed/repainted and reset. Some are missing/not easy to spot. It was a beautiful day to play. I’ll be returning this year to try my luck again.
They made us a 5some
Course in great shape needs water like most courses ..They made Are 4some a 5some then threw a single and 3 some in front of Us on the back .
I know the 4somes behind Us were probably frustrated .but they put a 5th with Us and starters kind of made the slowness by creating these conditions
First Time at the OC
Was suppose to be a warm day but it was cold. Overall all was good. Players behind us complained about the pace, however it wasn't us it was the group in front of us. The course was multi....which I loved. I would definitely come back gim and bring my baddies.
