Coming Back Fast
Played here for years because it was the best value available in DFW. Condition of the greens and fairways have always been excellent. Greens-keeping staff has always done an outstanding job. Thanks Rodney and crew. Winter and recent rain make it difficult to make the course perfect but its coming back fast. The greens were aerated and sanded this past week which is temporarily an annoyance but they should be back soon. Course has no bunkers but water makes it challenging enough.
Fun course, fun day
PLayed here with my buddy Rick. We played the white/blue combo. A few fun holes along the lake, a few awkward holes inland. Greens were coming into shape, fairways good, bunkers nicely kept. The nines we played were pretty short even from the tips. Definitely a good value for the money.
Eddlemon's BBQ is a must stop before heading home.

Amazing Value
For $24 with a cart, you can’t beat it. 3 9 hole courses, so you get to play two different courses. They have some really neat holes, conditions were not bad at all a little dry in some spots, but other than that no complaints! No bunkers on the course, and can be pretty windy on the holes on the lake making those holes challenging!

Amazing shape for Spring
Wind speed is around 35 mph and lost 6 balls on white course but we had a great day. And left with 2 barbecue sandwiches and fries for my understanding wife.

Very friendly staff. That's it.
Friendliest staff in the local golf community. Brown fairways flattened as if by a steam roller. Some greens fast, some slow, but all bumpy and lacking large amounts of grass. Pin placements matched those at the Masters on a Sunday. We saw no sand bunkers, which is ok, but no hard alcohol being served is not.
Behind us was a group of four beginners who never played golf before or taken a lesson. After five holes, they were three holes behind us. Three open holes on a Sunday afternoon! Obviously a need for a marshal. Somebody behind them must have complained because an employee came out and asked the name of our foursome. When we told him, he said OK and drove on. He was obviously looking for the beginners.
The beginners did not affect the speed of our play since they were behind us, but it was sad to watch them struggle so hard. However, but we constantly had two foursomes in front of us on the same holes we were on.
Elizabeth the cart girl was very pleasant and friendly.

Beautiful day
It’s was a beautiful day at PL. My game sucked, but that was not the fault of the course.
Course was in good shape and will be nice and green soon. Staff friendly and restaurant is excellent.
Pace was a bit slow and no Marshall. Unfortunately there was not a beverage cart or at least we never saw them. We will return and put a couple bottles of water in our bag.

First Texas course
Overall, thought the course was fun and challenging. I am not familiar with Texas grass, so brown, dry grass with a lot of roll is new. However, they could improve on the tee boxes ( not flat, sometimes bumpy).
