Beautiful Course, but tough for a hack....
Took my son for his birthday to play the course. Can't compliment the course enough, but would warn a "hack" like myself that it may be extremely frustrating. Staff are amazing, especially in the tavern. My one concern is that the pesticide guy needs to warn those at the driving range when he decides to drive his vehicle less then 15 yards in front of the tee boxes while golfers are hitting. He could have gotten killed, and almost did save for about a foot of space.
Overall, great day and I'll practice more for the next time!
Very path only
I truly love this course, but today sucked due to their decision to make it cart path only. We had a 4 o’clock tee time amd the whole course was completely dry throughout the whole round. I wish there was a way I could have been informed prior to going to the course. This course is extremely hilly and by the 2nd nine we were wore out! I would have played somewhere else instead that was less hilly or not cart path only. Truly made the round un-fun!
Took 5 hours to play. Two groups ahead of us were poor players playing from the Gold tees. It would have been beneficial to have a Marshall out there or digital tracking of the car TD.
Gorgeous course in great condition
First time playing here, and the course is amazing. Really intelligent course design which was a lot of fun, very scenic views, and really tough greens. Two putting on most holes felt like an achievement. Very stiff final three holes made it a bit of a bruising end to the round.
The course is in great shape.
Need to address the gear situation with their carts . Both our carts had issues trying to get them back in “forward” after being in reverse.
Need club stands on the driving range . Very nice area but no club stands .
Oct. 28 Maryland National
Had played this course early last spring and we decided to try in better weather. Course was crowded but we were paired up with a couple of young guys who were very nice. Course itself is in great condition with awesome fairways.
