Can’t believe I waited so long to play this course.
For years I would drive by when visiting my daughter and think to myself “I hear that’s a great course. Maybe I’ll play there soon.” I finally did just that and so mad I waited so long to do just that. Maryland National will be on the list of things to do for every visit from now on.
Love this course
I've played this course twice now, and I loved it both times. Some of the holes are challenging, some are pretty unique, and the course is in great shape. I would add that it would play even better if more players were reminded to fix their divots and ball marks!
Fill your divots, people!
This is such a great course that it makes me sad to see so many dicots in the fairways and ball marks on the greens. Nothing can take away from the great layout and challenging course, but, c’mon people - fix your hallmarks and divots! Help out the course to become even more beautiful.
Beautiful Course in the Mountains
The course was in great condition when we played -- nice fairways and well-manicured greens. The elevation changes provide for beautiful views and interesting holes. Good combination of tight fairways and wide open holes, but most greens are on the smaller side making approach accuracy critical. Loved this course and definitely plan to play it again. Well worth the drive from surrounding areas.

All around excellent course and facilities. Also the food and restaurant service are great
Favorite Public Course in MD
Had a rough day (played poorly) playing here for the first time this year. Play the right tees!! It's a hard course and will really penalize bad shots. Pristine conditions, and the best greens and bunkers I've played on this year. Only drawback was the nats were out since it's been so wet this week.
Perfect day for golf
A perfect day for golf with friends. Enjoyed the course and weather.
Course Growing On Me
Only a 40 minute drive from Leesburg. Course is always in great shape. Greens rolling fast. I need to play it more than a few times a year. I used to think some of the holes were gimmicky but I've changed my tune.
Nice course
Course was nice but need a little more directions where the holes are especially on the first tee box. Greens were fast but overall a nice course
