Prairie Lakes Golf Course - White Course

The course was in good condition for first weekend in March, would have preferred to play Blue and red Courses but White was ok.

Great course and super friendly staffs!I love walking here , fresh air , beautiful scenery… Good rate too!

Weather was a bit chilly, but warmed up a bit as we played. The Greens were fast, so getting used to the speed and slope were a bit challenging. I had some 3 putts when usually it should have been 2 putts.

The fairways were decent, but the ground was fairly hard, so in some cases getting some turf to hit off of made some shots a bit more difficult than having some turf to hit from.

It was a very enjoyable round. it was great to get out, and this course is always a nice choice to play.

And great staff! We were 20 minutes late and gave us no problem at all. 👍👍

Course is in great shape & we played , 3-some,

in less than 3 hours! However, went in to have some BBQ after the round & there was none, was told there was new owners. They wanted $30 for a couple bacon cheeseburgers. Apparently they don’t know they’re in GP, not Frisco! Whataburger is less than 2 miles away.

Played the course a few weeks ago right after all the rain and the course is in great condition now. Fairways in good shape and greens in really good shape. First time played the white / blue in this time played the blue / red. I enjoyed the white blue a little more. Just keep it in the fairway or you’re playing rescue golf through the trees.

We played the Red and White 9 hole courses. They have done course drainage improvements which all look great! The course is in fantastic shape! We always enjoy Prairie Lakes!

Great course, you have to make sure you stay in the fairways or you’ll be playing rescue golf through the trees. You’ll find your ball but have to punch it back out to the fairway. We had 4” of rain two days before and the course drained really well, just some mud in the trees. I’ll play this course again.

Had a very relaxed round at the course...the fairways were less than excellent, with some parts quite dry and devoid of grass...the course was challenging, especially the last few holes with water hazards which make it very interesting. The pathways could be better in some places where the cement had given way. Overall very satisfied and will definitely look to playing again.
