Prairie Lakes Golf Course - White Course

In good shape, move pretty well, green was excellent

Not bad for muni. Friendly people and nice layout. Condition is pretty good for such a busy course. Will certainly play again.

What can I say? Don't ever go and play on a day that it's cart path only. I'm a disabled vet, but that doesn't seem to matter there. Also, on a cart path only day, they were letting fivesomes play. After five holes and waiting forever on the fivesome in front of me, I asked them if I could play through. They said it wouldn't do any good as there was a foursome and a fivesome in front of them. I bailed an decided to go play the back nine instead. What do I find? A foursome teeing off with a fivesome on the green of that hole. What's going on? There were only about 18 cars in the parking lot. Bad marshaling, actually none, and bad management. I gave up, ate the green fee and just went home.

This is a nice golf course - straightforward, interesting, varied design, and a challenging track. You could play each hole with a different strategy, so your shot selection was varied which kept things interesting. Good greens/fairways and the holes along the lake on the white 9 were fun. Look, for $10 on Golfnow, this was a steal!

Was not expecting much from this course I've never heard about. The staff was so kind to me and my son. Pace of play was slightly slower than I'd wish but the course was in good shape. We will definitely have to go back.

A good combination of long and short holes and an interesting devils triangle.

A large driving range, and two putting greens are nice.

The course is in good shape. Relatively easy layout with no traps, but fun to play. Water comes into play on quite a few holes.

Hidden gem in Grand Prairie . Greens were great price was great even on Sunday. Staff was great and helpful. Didn't eat but it smelled good. Nice time and great courses.

I've played this course a few times and enjoyed it every time. The only downfall was the water on the triangle holes but that was expected with all the rain we have got

It has been about 10 years since I played this course. I played Red & White. They were in better then I expected condition. The greens are a little inconsistent but rolling at a good speed to fast. Fairways and Tee Boxes are in very good condition.

Course is challenging, tight and is in fear condition but the staff needs some training...be more friendly and give better attention to the guests...

Took a former student that played football for me when he was in high school. Since then he spend two years in the golf academy. He was impressed with the greens and liked the course. So did I. I will be back soon.

It was perfect. Greens were well kept. 27 holes is very appealing so as not to play the same 18 every time. Carts well maintained.

The course (3 Nine Hole Courses) are all in great shape. Greens are large and in Excellent Condition.
4 sets of Tees - offer a challenge to all levels of players.
You will find Water (Hint Prairie Lakes) but no Bunkers. Play it Forward and you will have a great time .
You will be hard pressed to find a nicer course at this price point. The course is Walkable but there are no Cart Girls, so be advised. Staff is excellent. The 19th Hole is very popular - Try it....you'll like it.

I have played Prairie Lakes on and off for the last 5 years. Its one of the best value courses in the DFW metroplex. The Par 3's are one of the most difficult among the public courses in the DFW. In addition, the putting greens are in the best shape I've ever seen for this course. I would highly recommend this course to others.
