Fred Arbanas Golf Course - Par-3

The course was in pretty good shape, greens rolled wonderfully. No marshals regulating pace of play, as well as them allowing singles and doubles during a busy day was a horrible idea. Last time I played the course was a weekend, thought it would be better during the week mid day. It was not.

Started our round by following a slow fivesome on a Saturday morning. Called the clubhouse and tried to encourage a marshall to manage but none came. There were 4 open holes before the fivesome let us pass. After that, all was great. Ironically, a marshall showed up on the back nine to offer water...just wish they would have started earlier.
Arbanas is a fun course with a few challenging holes but mostly wide open. Great course to go low. Greens in good condition for this time of year.
Great course for walking!

I love this course! Probably my favorite in the eastern KC suburbs. The holes are so scenic, especially in the fall. Number 12 down by the lake was a real treat. The zoysia fairways and tee boxes are in great shape. Greens are expansive, undulating, fast and smooth. A good course for walkers as well.

Course has a good layout with generous fairways and some challenging greens. Great value with Golf Now. Pace of play was great until the 15th hole, when we ran into a fivesome.

Good course for the money. Tees, fairways and rough and greens are above average, just wish they would pay more attention to the sand traps. They shaped them up in 2013, but 2014...let's say I've seen better. Sand is better than most but they are not raked regularly and the perimeters not kept up.

Nice course. Very challenging, tough greens. The only down side is the yardage is poorly marked. The only yardage is the 150 marker. Par 3's have nothing so take a range finder or use a yardage app on your phone.

This was a wonderful day for golf and not just the weather but the whole outing

Great course in great shape & got if for a great price.

Been playing here for years & enjoy it every time! Great layout with some very scenic holes. They don't have too many hazards but it is still challenging due to the layout. A lot of dog legs & some elevation changes! The greens roll alright, not fast at all. Overall the condition of the course was good, we've had pretty good weather this year. Only thing I would complain about is their price, bit high for a public course. Thanks to Golf Now, you can find some great deals!

Great course layout with very few flat lies in the fairway. Greens are tiered and run slightly fast. More ball marks on greens than most courses. Pretty good deal if you can find it for 30 - 40 percent off.

I had a awesome time playing a tough course, because of the serenity of Fred Arbanas Golf Course. The fairways and greens are in great shape. The greens are tough, i recommend this course to any golfer that enjoys beautiful views and challenging holes.:

Great course layout, fairways had spotty grass and dry as concrete while the greens were scarred but watered.

Overall a good rounds due to the course layout. Hilly and challenging.

Was greeted in the pro shop by an arrogant kid in his thirties that seemed unhappy to be disturbed by a group of paying customers, We figured the kid must have had a bad day until we walked in to the snack bar.
The old lady in the bar took our order and wobbled around the corner for what seemed like an eternity. Turned out she made one of our sandwiches from scratch (low on meat), had we known it would have taken her three minutes to make a turkey sandwich we;d settled for a hot dog,

The course was in fair condition but the greens still were bumpy from last falls aerification which was odd for early April. But given the overall lack of professionalism found in the pro shop and the snack bar. our expectations should have been lowered .

This was a great course ten years ago, now, it;s average at best if you can see past poor greens and a staff focused on everything but the customer.

Favorite observation: Staff parking takes up the best spots in the parking lot which may explain why the staff acts like they are more important than their customers....

Just a veteran enjoys golfing, with the outstanding rates for the militay veterans I am able to play on it. it is well kept with such a good attitude from the staff.
