Greens are rough this time of year with a mix of bermuda and polenta - they need to mow more often - sand bunkers are not playable since they don’t drain and have become packed wet clay !

I love the layout - every hole has different challenges - sand traps are mostly clay and unplayable and they don’t drain - the greens are always rough due to non maintenance and different types of grass so they don’t roll true . - however you can’t beat the price for playing a round of golf !

The course was really looking batter the last time I played it about two months ago. Yes we had a hard freeze and I am sure that is part of the issue with no to little grass on the greens. Biggest issue is over booking. Had a 1110 tee time. Was there at 11, (I don't do any warm up hitting on driving range or putting) had multiple foursomes sitting at the first tee waiting. Even saw several groups of 5 playing. Overbooking made for slow play so I only played 9 of the 18 holes I payed for.

Once a very good course that has completely fallen into disrepair. I last played and reviewed the course in Sept of 2022, didn’t think it could get worse but they managed to do so. “Fairways” indistinguishable from rough as very little grass is to be found on the course, not a rake to be found at a single bunker, many years back the greens were remarkably good but that was years ago. Tee boxes are uneven and if there’s any grass on them it’s weed grasses. Pace of play is astoundingly slow and not a Marshall in sight on an overbooked holiday. As for the off course amenities, the bathrooms are atrocious. Toilets backed up and water flowing out from the women’s restroom and my wife said it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, men’s restroom no better. Overbooked? Well the Saturday before when calling to ask about tee times we were told just come on out, they were so packed there wasn’t a cart available and there were at least four groups waiting to tee off! I guess a better term would be they don’t care about tee times just pack in the $$’s.

The course needs to clean and maintain the restrooms.

The bathrooms at Legendary Oaks need to be cleaned. They are a disgrace, both the ones near the proshop and the one on hole #4.

Last time we went course needed some up keep. Fairways are fine. Tee boxes could use some work. And the greens definitely need work. You can still have a good time playing this track. Easy layout not much to get in trouble with. Open fairways and not to many ponds. If you can get the hot deal for $20 on a weekend I say jump on it.

It has been awhile since I’ve played Legendary Oaks. The members (most likely) drive their carts around Greens & Tee Boxes in the shortest path, creating new run down areas / paths where there shouldn’t be. These patrons are showing very little regard for the course, completely disrespecting it & other golfers who are hoping to enjoy a pristine layout. They run over stakes for roping off & do their very best in destroying the course by running straight up between tee boxes onto the fairway & almost never using the cart path or using the 90 degree rule.

It is a fair price for the course conditions. Fairways and tee boxes have quite a few weeds so the turf is mixed throughout the course. Same goes for the greens. They look good from a distance, but as you approach the turf types and irregular growth starts to show and makes putting challenging. If you go before the greens get some sun (before 11-12) they are still soaked from the irrigation and if you can 3 putt or better you are doing well. All in all, not a bad course if compared to an muni course. This week was my 4th or 5th time, so like I said, not a bad place to play if you want to work on drives and approach shots, just don’t plan to hone in on putting. For the price I think the conditions match, so just get your mindset right and have a good time playing the game. It looks like they are working to improve the greens though, they seem to be improving from previous months/years. The restrooms and facilities could use some work along with the curb appeal, but again for $25-$40 for 18 holes, can you really complain?

I haven’t played this course in a while. It’s in much better condition than the last few years!!

only bad part was the greens weren’t great super unpredictable but other than that i had a blast

It was a beautiful day, and the price was right. Unfortunately, because of the low green fees you get what you pay for….

Greens = 3 ⭐️

They have put a lot of work bringing this back to a nice playable course. My round was $33 on a Friday morning, can’t beat it for the money.
