Clear Creek Golf Course
About
Clear Creek Golf Course is a flat, wide-open links-style track loaded with water and bunkers. The only sort of elevation changes you'll experience come from the ravines that route through the course and the undulating greens.
The back nine is the more challenging, spiced up by some interesting par 3s and two outstanding par 5s. Clear Creek's 11th hole goes 555 yards and involves an approach over a ravine, and No. 13 is a 584-yard monster that double-doglegs to a skinny green framed by bunkers.

Good Value Round
Pace of play has improved since the last time I played this course, so that was a pleasant surprise. The course is in better condition than other public courses in the area.
The Greens were in GOOD shape...
Great course for the money. Challenging Holes. The prevailing winds and Bunkers are just two things you have to deal with. Bring your A game...!!
It's a good course
It's a very good course, green has very good condition. I will play again
Great value
The course was in great shape. The greens were "smooth" but a little slow. I got a true roll on most putts, very little "bouncing". Fairways were in great shape. Water coolers on the course were great as it was hot, and very little cover as it's a links style course. Great value for $$ paid for a round. and the touch screen GPS's are fantastic!
Always immaculate
Love it will be back next week greens always in great shape
Slow Greens & Slower Play
I've always liked the layout of Clear Creek, especially holes 15 through 17, however this was the slowest round of Golf ever experienced there. The starter created no spacing off of the 1st tee, and instead of keeping the pace moving, I witnessed him driving around hunting for golf balls. I was shocked when I watched him drive his golf cart right up on a tee box to BS around with the exact same foursome holding up play; not a very good example set there. I won't be back here on a weekend again I tell you that much. The greens were extremely slow & seriously need to be rolled. They should give a free divot tool & divot repair class to every person who plays here.
Nice Course
Good time. I will play there as much as I can.
Thanks
Slow Play a Killer
Course in better shape than most in Houston. Extremely cooperative staff. One member of our foursome plays there a lot and said pace of play is usually horrible. I quit after 12 holes; it was going to be a 5.5-6 hour round on a Sunday.
Nice low budget course
Nothing fancy but not a goat ranch either, it's kept up They added gps to the carts which is nice and worked really well.
Best quality among affordable courses
1. Overall course condition is very good
2. GPS in cart is very handy
3. Not very crowded. Other players are very nice
4. Gold Tee is good for beginners
5. Rivers and plants make 18 holes very diversified
The only thing that bothered me a little bit, was that the tee box was a little too hard. I had to find a spot to place my tee :(
Consistently good!
This course is definitely one of the best values around. The course and greens are in good condition, offering a very fair opportunity to test and work on your game. I play one or two rounds weekly and I even joined their loyalty club because the practice facilities are also very good. I live in the galleria area and I get here much easier than the northwest courses. And they always have some golf now deals.
Bad staff
I showed up for a tee time at 1:48pm and asked for a cart to drive to the range and was told no. Because of a tournament i had to walk. there was clearly enough carts for me to drive over there and then the cart girl came by on hole 4 and was never to be seen after that. No marshal insight to let him know of the slow players in front of us and we had 4 players. I probably won't return, unless i get a good deal on the tee time.
Very Slow
Played here at 10:30 on a Friday. The course was in good shape. Some of the tee boxes could use a watering and the greens had a lot of sand on them. The thing that will keep me from playing here on Fri,Sat or Sun is the pace of play. The course was fairly crowded. There are marshals but they don"t do anything. It took us 5 hours to play. I could see that most of the people ahead of us were hacks which is fine but they need to learn some etiquette and pick up after 7 or 8 shots.and don't spend 5 minutes looking for your golf ball on each hole.I will come back but only Mon-Thur before 9:00.
worse pace of ever
had a tee time but walkups were given preference due to NO starter. played 9 holes in 2 hrs and 45 min. totally unaccepatable and will NOT go back unless they stick to tee times over walkups.
Good condition bad mgmt
They let 5 and 6somes out and don't really manage the pace of play. 2 Marshalls out in course but one of them was sitting and doing nothing. Course is in good condition but they need to manage the flow better.
Course in very good shape
1st time playing here - you can't beat the condition of the course for the price paid on Golf Now (for late afternoon tee time) - I will definitely be back.
links courses are great fun to play
much ,much , better than we thought it would be after looking at some of the revues,I guess it proves you can't make every body happy all the time ,we totally enjoyed our outing, the course was fabulous lots of fun to play ,and we are definatily going to go back there again, thanks for an enjoyable day
Dave Thomas
Nice fairways and decent greens to putt
I would play this course again, it's a great value for amateur golfers.
Good Value
Good track, greens had just been top dressed so were somewhat sandy. Overall,a good value.
