Clear Creek Golf Course

The fairways were in good condition and the greens were usually true. The design lacked imagination and adventure. Straight with a couple of traps, and a few trees.
Not much in sloped fairways, elevated tees or greens, there is some water to avoid but what course doesn't have water to avoid. Not a single hole required a certain challenging carry. Not one hole forced you to shoot down a tube of trees. Nothing there to "get into your head" while you stand over your tee shot.
It was a nice afternoon of golf but I went away bored - not talking about "that one hole that....."
I won't rush back.

Got a great deal at 70% off, because it was a 2 pm tee time and it was 95° outside. The course was in great condition and the beverage cart came by often. Overall fun time.

If you choose to have an Eco Friendly mowing policy, please buy more red stakes.

Played with a group of 3 at 1:50pm. Great weather, great course conditions, and the pace of play was awesome. Course was pretty busy and I still did not have to wait once to play my shot. Had an amazing time, definitely recommend this course & will be returning!!

This is a great little public course just outside Houston. The course is very nice and the greens are in goos shape. I will be going back to play here again.

This was a great time for the boys and I to play 9 holes. The course was in good shape and even though there were a lot of golfers out, it didn't feel rushed or packed at all. We will definitely play here again.

Walked in and they gave me a key. I had paid online through golfnow. Easiest check in I have ever had. Nice course, nice price, great day.

A fun course to play. Very wide open and fair. The round would have been more fun, faster play and the quality of golf better had it not rained frequently during the round.

Clear Creek GC was one course I was pleased with. Staff was friendly. Good pen placement on green was challenging.

It was a rainy day, but the course held up well. Golf now save us about $8.5 a piece . We will do it again.

Pace of play has improved since the last time I played this course, so that was a pleasant surprise. The course is in better condition than other public courses in the area.

Great course for the money. Challenging Holes. The prevailing winds and Bunkers are just two things you have to deal with. Bring your A game...!!

The course was in great shape. The greens were "smooth" but a little slow. I got a true roll on most putts, very little "bouncing". Fairways were in great shape. Water coolers on the course were great as it was hot, and very little cover as it's a links style course. Great value for $$ paid for a round. and the touch screen GPS's are fantastic!

I've always liked the layout of Clear Creek, especially holes 15 through 17, however this was the slowest round of Golf ever experienced there. The starter created no spacing off of the 1st tee, and instead of keeping the pace moving, I witnessed him driving around hunting for golf balls. I was shocked when I watched him drive his golf cart right up on a tee box to BS around with the exact same foursome holding up play; not a very good example set there. I won't be back here on a weekend again I tell you that much. The greens were extremely slow & seriously need to be rolled. They should give a free divot tool & divot repair class to every person who plays here.

Course in better shape than most in Houston. Extremely cooperative staff. One member of our foursome plays there a lot and said pace of play is usually horrible. I quit after 12 holes; it was going to be a 5.5-6 hour round on a Sunday.

Nothing fancy but not a goat ranch either, it's kept up They added gps to the carts which is nice and worked really well.
