About
Clear Creek Golf Course is a flat, wide-open links-style track loaded with water and bunkers. The only sort of elevation changes you'll experience come from the ravines that route through the course and the undulating greens.
The back nine is the more challenging, spiced up by some interesting par 3s and two outstanding par 5s. Clear Creek's 11th hole goes 555 yards and involves an approach over a ravine, and No. 13 is a 584-yard monster that double-doglegs to a skinny green framed by bunkers.

DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE!! The greens are always in horrible shape! The fairways are not kept up well! The play is super slow. This course has gotten worse over the past 3 years! Not worth the money they charge! So find another course to play! I will never play it again after trying yesterday after a not playing it a year ago!!!

The greens were a little beat up on a few holes, Overall enjoyed my round. Pace was a little slow.

Bad green conditions.
Seems like the maintenance of this course is very poor. Greens are in a very bad shape, for $72 fee it is not worth to come back here.

Greens are brutal
It had been a year at least since I've played here and the greens are in terrible shape. Charging $70 for a round is ridiculous if you don't have maintained greens. Also the rough could be mowed a little lower so people can actually find their balls. I get weeds and whatnot but the fairways are covered with random weeds and the rough is a complete mess.
Not sure what happened there. It used to be so much better.

Bad and getting worse
Played her a ton. This bad is the big bad. Could not find my balls on the fairway because of plant overgrowth. It's absurd really...

Inconsistent greens, no Marshall anywhere
Course seemed to be dried out in fairways easily. However, there was no Marshall keeping up w the pace of play. It got pretty stagnant on the back 9. Greens were punched on the front 9, back 9 was better. Just makes for inconsistent putting and hindering a better score

Goat track in one of the largest cities
It’s a goat track and they almost lost all the greens in the front line. Pretty cool links style layout.

Great little local course
Great course for the price and location. Challenging enough for low handicappers but open enough for mid to high handicappers. Greens were a little slower than expected but overall the course was is in good shape.

Great value.
We played this course the morning after the course was closed for rain the day before and there was 1.5”-3” overnight. Gotta say this was a delightful round of golf. The fairways had no standing water, which given the rain the day and night before was impressive. Tee boxes were good, fairways were nice, greens were mostly great. Honestly the $40 for a Friday morning tee time was a steal. Easily one of the best public courses in Houston. Can’t wait to play again. Staff was amazing!!!
