About
Clear Creek Golf Course is a flat, wide-open links-style track loaded with water and bunkers. The only sort of elevation changes you'll experience come from the ravines that route through the course and the undulating greens.
The back nine is the more challenging, spiced up by some interesting par 3s and two outstanding par 5s. Clear Creek's 11th hole goes 555 yards and involves an approach over a ravine, and No. 13 is a 584-yard monster that double-doglegs to a skinny green framed by bunkers.

Great little local course
Great course for the price and location. Challenging enough for low handicappers but open enough for mid to high handicappers. Greens were a little slower than expected but overall the course was is in good shape.
Great value.
We played this course the morning after the course was closed for rain the day before and there was 1.5”-3” overnight. Gotta say this was a delightful round of golf. The fairways had no standing water, which given the rain the day and night before was impressive. Tee boxes were good, fairways were nice, greens were mostly great. Honestly the $40 for a Friday morning tee time was a steal. Easily one of the best public courses in Houston. Can’t wait to play again. Staff was amazing!!!

Terrible greens
1st green looked like a sand trap and I hoped it was an anomaly. Nope. Every green on the course was in very bad shape. There were also water hazards where there normally aren't and it hadn't rained in days. Definitely won't be back for a long while.

Stay away
The course is in terrible shape, greens were really bad, tee boxes were a mess, standing water everywhere, put some money into better drainage, course has really gone downhill, no marshalls to help speed of play, there was a foresome that was really playing slow with no regard for any other groups, just not a good experience

Great Course
I really like Clear Creek. Drains well enough fo have dry fairways and not havecto be CPO. Nice layout with some water hazards that make for a great challenge.

Putting Greens
In my opinion, I think if you guys work on your greens just a little more. Everything else will fall into place.Otherwise I have no issues with anything else.

This course sees a lot of golfers
Pace of play was acceptable for a nice weekend round. Course sees a lot of golfers but is in decent shape all things considered, especially the greens.
Much better than Soutwyck
Course was in great shape. Greens and fairways were excellent. Pace of play was good although no marshal present to prevent issues.
