Irving Golf Club

Course was in excellent condition and I really enjoyed the layout. Tee time was a little delayed because of an event that day, but once we got on the course it was wide open. Will be coming back to play here during the year.

The greens are very good and have been cared for, very fast. Old cups are a little frustrating, really ragged. Fairways are hit and miss, very firm. Hopefully they don’t cut again until the Spring. They will be terrible for winter golf is there isn’t some grass.

Staff is always nice, and the value is good.

Slow play was only due to a single added to our threesome. Can’t put a 20+ handicap with a bunch of 4-10s.. Bad and terribly slow, not a fun combo. We ended up 3+ holes behind.

Course conditions very good, greens fantastic & rolling fast but very fair. I like the risk reward course offers & you have to manage your game to shoot well. Will be back again soon.

This used to be twin wells, the fire ant capital of Texas. It’s been completely ripped out and replaced with a great little course, much like Chester W Ditto in Arlington was removed and replaced with Texas Rangers, only without all the branding and a much lower green fee. Highly recommended.

Amazed by the condition of the course. It was path only and there was still some standing water (from massive rains in the last week). While I don't play often (I used to), I would have to say that the greens have to be some of the very best in the DFW. Seriously, that good. That applies to the practice putting green(s) and the green in the chipping area. That short game practice area is da bomb (although I didn't hit any bunker shots). Keep up the good work IGC and 'shout-out" to the greens-keeping crew!

Greens were very puttable. I had golf attire so no problem their either. Who complains about having to wear a golf shirt?

I was a single. Surprised that I HAD to ride with someone or pay and additional $20. I golf a lot by myself and NO other course does this.

No bad things to say about this course, especially when playing through the heat wave. Carts have coolers on them, and you can get ice from the cart girl or club house. Course is in great condition considering the circumstances of the Texas summer, layout is challenging but fun, and the price is extremely appropriate for everything they have to offer. No complaints for Irving Golf Club.

Course is in good condition, especially for the Texas heat. The problem isn’t so much the course, but the management of it. I have played here 3 times expecting it to be better each time, but it wasn’t. There were never enough carts and had to wait past our tee time until one became available. Course ends up getting backed up because it is either overbooked or because everyone waiting for a cart is trying to tee off at the same time since no one had a cart for their original tee time. It took over 3.5 hours to play 9 holes last time I went.

It’s sad because I really enjoyed the course.

Nice course and layout. Pretty wide open which enables quick play. The overall condition considering the heat was great. Took less than 3 hours to play for a threesome.. Proshop staff and assistance was good! I will play it again in the future if in the area

Waste of time. I remember going to this golf course as a kid . Now with this new general manger who thinks just because he has this title he can be a total a*% to everyone. I had a mock golf shirt and drove all the in from north of Denton to get told rudely that I needed a collared shirt … I said man I don’t and then stated man I am first tee time out and it was clean and tucked in .. well this dude thought this was Augusta National. Tees, fairways and greens were in good shape. Pace of play was a little slow. Two employees were rude and disrespectful. There are a lot of reviews about their employees being rude and disrespectful. My kids and I play often and we have never had problems there up untill yesterday. On a 100 plus degree day I was told we couldn't bring and water or Gatorade on to the course. I will not get into what I was told while checking in. I am not the only golfer who will not be back. It's a sha.e because my kids and I really enjoy playing there.

Not a bad course at all.. old school carts which is a plus in this heat when you wanting to get closer to ball.. relatively short holes but still challenging.. plenty of grass to lose balls in .. so keep it down the middle and good luck .. id play here again ..
