About
From the fairways of Irving (formerly known as Twin Wells), you can see the skyline of downtown Dallas–a nice aesthetic for this fun, user-friendly municipal. The course is mostly an open, links-style design, although a few holes that roll along the Trinity River favor a traditional-style on the back nine.
Hole 3 stands out on the front: a 437-yard dogleg left that is protected by fairway bunkers. On the back, No. 11 is the most difficult–another long par 4 at 451 yards.
Getting there : From Hwy. 183 east, take Loop 12 south and exit Shady Grove Rd. Turn left, drive a short distance to the course, look for the clubhouse on the right side of the street.

We had to quit after 9 holes due to the stench of sewage.
Only played there once before and don’t recall the same issue. Was having a good round and wanted to continue but …….

Course Closed with no notice
Showed up for my tee time today to a locked gate and no notice that the course would be closed today. An email, phone call or anything would have been nice to not have wasted my time driving out.

Fun Course To Play
It was very wet after some heavy rain but overall, the course, especially greens were in good shape. This is a fun course to play, challenging enough for all skill levels with plenty of interesting features on many holes. Alwats enough the course and the friendly environment

Good course at a great price !
Wide fairways, challenging, strategically placed bunkers, large, accommodating greens, some 2 tiered. The course is in great shape, but, like lots of Texas golf courses, the waterways were disappointingly trashed. I don't understand why the creeks and ponds can't be cleaned up.

A good course to test your skills
A challenging combination of tough and easy. The layout is compact compared to some.of the more well spread out courses in Dallas. Very often when you're sandwiched between 2 4-balls, it is very frustrating. But it's also quite easy to get a round by yourself. It's certainly not the best maintained course but the staff are friendly and i will play there again. Post the rain, there's waterlogging in a few spots but nothing that detracts from a good round. You end up using all your clubs!

Enjoyable
Course was in good condition and the greens were in good shape. Enjoyed the layout. Only issue, there was no Marshall on the course and a twosome had the entire course backed up. They did let us play through at the turn which made pace of play much better for us.

Great Course
The layout was confusing at times due to playing there for the first time. However, the holes were great with enough variation to keep it interesting.

Weekday golfing
This was my first time playing here. I enjoyed the layout and the staff were really nice. I played during the week and thought I wouldn't feel rushed as I am a woman and have a much shorter game. Unfortunately there were several singles in a row behind me and my 2 additional players and we were constantly being hit upon and having to allow the singles to play through....only complaint I had.

Great day on the golf course
First time playing here and will return in the future. Staff was very friendly, course in good shape and great elevation changes to view Dallas sky line. Well worth the green fees!!!

Nice course
Played a round with the wife and have no complaints. Course is baked but is expected, greens were in great shape and were extremely fast and rolled nice. Bunkers were hard but again expected. Would definitely play another round here. Thanks
