About
From the fairways of Irving (formerly known as Twin Wells), you can see the skyline of downtown Dallas–a nice aesthetic for this fun, user-friendly municipal. The course is mostly an open, links-style design, although a few holes that roll along the Trinity River favor a traditional-style on the back nine.
Hole 3 stands out on the front: a 437-yard dogleg left that is protected by fairway bunkers. On the back, No. 11 is the most difficult–another long par 4 at 451 yards.
Getting there : From Hwy. 183 east, take Loop 12 south and exit Shady Grove Rd. Turn left, drive a short distance to the course, look for the clubhouse on the right side of the street.

Can't ride alone
I was a single. Surprised that I HAD to ride with someone or pay and additional $20. I golf a lot by myself and NO other course does this.
Great course, great value
No bad things to say about this course, especially when playing through the heat wave. Carts have coolers on them, and you can get ice from the cart girl or club house. Course is in great condition considering the circumstances of the Texas summer, layout is challenging but fun, and the price is extremely appropriate for everything they have to offer. No complaints for Irving Golf Club.
And if you're an Irving resident, you get a discount!

7 hour pace of of play
Course is in good condition, especially for the Texas heat. The problem isn’t so much the course, but the management of it. I have played here 3 times expecting it to be better each time, but it wasn’t. There were never enough carts and had to wait past our tee time until one became available. Course ends up getting backed up because it is either overbooked or because everyone waiting for a cart is trying to tee off at the same time since no one had a cart for their original tee time. It took over 3.5 hours to play 9 holes last time I went.
It’s sad because I really enjoyed the course.

Great value and excellent conditions
Nice course and layout. Pretty wide open which enables quick play. The overall condition considering the heat was great. Took less than 3 hours to play for a threesome.. Proshop staff and assistance was good! I will play it again in the future if in the area

Terrible … don’t waste your time with these rude / mean people who hate golfers
Waste of time. I remember going to this golf course as a kid . Now with this new general manger who thinks just because he has this title he can be a total a*% to everyone. I had a mock golf shirt and drove all the in from north of Denton to get told rudely that I needed a collared shirt … I said man I don’t and then stated man I am first tee time out and it was clean and tucked in .. well this dude thought this was Augusta National. Well , long story longer .. I walked never to return. And I’ll tell everyone who’ll

Course was in pretty good shape
Tees, fairways and greens were in good shape. Pace of play was a little slow. Two employees were rude and disrespectful. There are a lot of reviews about their employees being rude and disrespectful. My kids and I play often and we have never had problems there up untill yesterday. On a 100 plus degree day I was told we couldn't bring and water or Gatorade on to the course. I will not get into what I was told while checking in. I am not the only golfer who will not be back. It's a sha.e because my kids and I really enjoy playing there.

Good time
Not a bad course at all.. old school carts which is a plus in this heat when you wanting to get closer to ball.. relatively short holes but still challenging.. plenty of grass to lose balls in .. so keep it down the middle and good luck .. id play here again ..

Terrible!
Early morning tee times are soaked with water. Meth heads run the course, very rude. The golf pro Eric wofford is an absolute animal. The biggest jerk I’ve ever ran into in my life. I was tempted to post his address here for everyone else he has been rude too. Fat turkey neck old man who hates his life. Awful.

Not a Summer course
Greens firm, fairway green but hard. Not a course to play during summer. Pace was horrible we spent 45min waiting to play hole 9. They need Marshall's to pick up the pace.

overpriced
even with the discount $44 is too much when you can see plastic liner in a sand trap, no water in the coolers ,no water in the cart cooler, no towels in the cart, no GPS, no marshall for the 4some in front of us falling 2 holes behind.
