About
From the fairways of Irving (formerly known as Twin Wells), you can see the skyline of downtown Dallas–a nice aesthetic for this fun, user-friendly municipal. The course is mostly an open, links-style design, although a few holes that roll along the Trinity River favor a traditional-style on the back nine.
Hole 3 stands out on the front: a 437-yard dogleg left that is protected by fairway bunkers. On the back, No. 11 is the most difficult–another long par 4 at 451 yards.
Getting there : From Hwy. 183 east, take Loop 12 south and exit Shady Grove Rd. Turn left, drive a short distance to the course, look for the clubhouse on the right side of the street.

Terrible!
Early morning tee times are soaked with water. Meth heads run the course, very rude. The golf pro Eric wofford is an absolute animal. The biggest jerk I’ve ever ran into in my life. I was tempted to post his address here for everyone else he has been rude too. Fat turkey neck old man who hates his life. Awful.

Not a Summer course
Greens firm, fairway green but hard. Not a course to play during summer. Pace was horrible we spent 45min waiting to play hole 9. They need Marshall's to pick up the pace.

overpriced
even with the discount $44 is too much when you can see plastic liner in a sand trap, no water in the coolers ,no water in the cart cooler, no towels in the cart, no GPS, no marshall for the 4some in front of us falling 2 holes behind.

Hidden gem in Irving
Great layout. Good for avg golfer with wide fairways and not much water. Could be walkable when it isnt 100° out.

Miserable conditions
I have played this course several times but yesterday was the absolute worst experience I have had there.
The greens are slow and bumpy like they were just punched, but they were not.
The weather was the hottest of the season and virtually every water jug was completely empty. It’s not asking too much to keep them refilled on such a blistering hot day. For the greens fee they charge (not super expensive, but not the cheapest at $50), you would expect the most basic of amenities like water on the course. We played in the heat of the day and I realize water gets used up, but refilling them on a regular basis should be a higher priority. Very disappointed.
Lastly, the pace of play was insanely bad. Our round took 5 hours. In this heat it felt like 6 or 7. With no water on the course it was an experience I’m not likely to repeat any time soon.

Constant
Consistently solid golf course. This is one of the few places that has cold water on the course since the Chinavirus hoax and I appreciate that. Fairways plush, greens FAST, good pace and maybe the best value for the $ in this area. Will be back.

Have always loved this course, and the staff is great. I’d recommend anyone to play this track, BUT.. not right now. Give it two weeks. The greens are aerated and u will need a lucky bounce to make any putts. Rest of course great condition, greens need a few weeks.
