Country View Golf Club

This course is challenging as the green are up. Challenging yet the course has been taken care of!!! The staff was very friendly and caring!!!

great looking and very challenging...great price and great round again will play here many times to come!!

Greens and fairways looking superb...few weeds but its that time of year and this is municipal so completely expect some imperfections.

Bottom line is you get more than you pay for here!

Fairways decent, greens better than most. Clubhouse staff excellent. Thumbs up to the young lady that checked us in and the GM that greeted us as royalty. Recommending this golf course to all. Coming back. Shot 83 from the tips. I owe this golf course something!

First time playing Country View and had just a great time. I have played all over DFW, and Country View is one of the best courses I have played for the money. Staff was polite and helpful, pace of play was excellent, the layout was challenging, and the greens were perfect. Worth the drive for sure. So relaxing as the course winds through the forest-Not a house in site.

Not my first time reviewing this course because I play here regularly. Nothing has really changed. I promised to include pictures of carts on the tee box. Will do greens next time. Literally. Happens all day - every day on my observation. . Only the occasional marshal.

This is our go to course in this area. We as a family love playing County View. Most tee boxes and greens are elevated. Fairways are pretty wide open. At the same time you can find yourself in trouble alot if you don't watch out.

Staff has always been kind and courteous. I lost a wingman(left it on cart) and the button there and I called the next morning the clubhouse(don't know his name )attendant and cart attendant found the speaker and a patron found the button on the course and turned it in. I immediately bought a gift card and gave it to the guy first turned it in.

For the intermediate player this course will test your knowledge and skills, from Up and downs, to a wide verity of left to right Plato’s on green. The fair ways are as normal as it gets but with a difficult hole 17 on an Island green elevated 20 ft high. Cart service was great, and club house was put together. The only down side at the time I played was, there was no sand In the bunkers which would have been really nice to practice Tahiti out the bunkers. Over all amazing course will definitely return.

Course is challenging and forces you to make good shots. Not a negative for sure. Greens were fast as well. Wind was whipping at around 20-30 mph which made it an interesting day. Only negative was the 5 hour round. The 4 top on front of us were very very slooooow…..

I would recommend this course to a friend but I would warn them of the friendliness of the staff and the goofy rules when it comes to tee times… ex. Me and my playing partner arrived at the course early to practice chipping and putting… We noticed that there had been a hour since anyone had teed off so I asked the staff if We could go ahead and tee off and they said no because of cart issues, mind you there were over 15 unused carts… then the staff told me that they would go ahead and let me tee off in 10 minutes and I asked them what the difference it was in us teeing off now versus 10 minutes later… I am an avid golfer and have never been told that I had to wait to tee off when a course was not busy… baffled me!!!

Given that this course is rather far from most courses in the DFW area, I didn’t expect much from it, but to my surprise, this was a pretty good course for its location and price. I’m new to golf, have only played at 12 courses (max), so this course was slightly difficult for me, but I would say that a golfer that has been playing for about a year would enjoy this course, as it varies between par 3 and par 5 holes.
