Punch green
Green were punch and didn’t even know the staff should have said something about it but they didn’t even care
Greens were recently punched
The site did not notify or alert us that the greens were recently punched and full of sand. Some of the holes were not playable due to the course greens being watered as well. The curse is usually in good shape, but this particular day was very frustrating because the greens weren't playable.
Flat but hilly
The course conditions can definitely be improved, there’s so many up and down hills on the fairway along with the uncut grass in the rough and on the fairways. It could be kept up a little better than what it has been.
Without Hot Deal Unsure It’s Worth It
Fairways were in good shape and pace of play was great given it was a Wednesday but the greens were in very bad shape. Patch jobs on the greens were half an inch, if not more, higher than the greens themselves, and they were plentiful.
Forgiving course
Fairways are a little bumpy and greens are rough around the edges, but overall course was in great condition. Good value for money. Most holes are very forgiving but a few have a layout you have to plan for. I'll definitely come back
A few hidden surprises.
I was pleasantly surprised by this course, but there were a few unwelcome surprises. . I enjoyed the layout of the course and the challenging holes it puts in front of you. The fairways were solid, and the greens were a little patch, but only in certain spots. Overall I haven’t found too many places so far this summer who have good greens. Either way, I was playing with another person, and they hit their ball into a sandtrap, but then we see the ball splash! We both looked at each other in disbelief. Splash....what?!? As we got closer the whole sandtrap was fillled with water. My partner lost his ball because it was mini pond in the trap. We tried digging our clubs around, and found 3 other golf balls that were not ours. I would play again, but you guys need to drain those or something.
Greens need help
Thought the course would be in better condition, especially the greens.
Great Value
The pro shop and facilities are great. Everyone can take their own cart, good social distancing. We played La Quinta and it is in phenomenal shape for not having a lot of rain. The restrooms are closed and the turn from nine to ten is NOT at the clubhouse. Stay hydrated, but don’t over do it as bathrooms are a drive. The overall experience was awesome and the course plays great for 10-20 handicap players. We will play again soon!!
Augusta National, look out!
We played La Quinta and it was freaking awesome. The course was beautiful and well maintained. The price was ridiculously low and the on course service staff were amazing. Gas up your private jet and get your butt to Missouri City, Texas. This place is beyond compare.
Great Course
A challenging and fun course in very nice condition. Tee boxes, fairways, and bunkers were in good shape Greens were good and running true.
Looking forward to coming back soon.
Last golf round before lockdown
Course was in really good shape. Lot’s of Covid-19 precautions (no rakes in bunkers, notice in cart to leave flagstick I hole, etc). Very few people on course. Played in 2.5 hours.
