About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Landa Park is a gem
Great golf course with the Comal river, several ponds, and numerous sand traps. Hill country background with tree lined holes and deer everywhere. Not a long track, but theymake the best use of the land they have.

Beautiful course especially given its a municipal course. Carts have gps, ball and club cleaners.
Great course. My only complaint is pace of play is a bit slow but and difficult to get an early tee time. But condition is good and staff is friendly.

Landa Park Golf Course after the rain
Had a fun time today. Rain let up a couple hours before we tee’d off. Fun round. Pace was brisk probably due to it being Mother’s Day. Beautiful park setting. Course is in good shape. Will be back.

Great value, great course
I’ve passed by this course 1,000 times and never played. I’m sorry I didn’t get there sooner.
Extra friendly staff that were accommodating.
Fairways were very lush…the thickest and nicest I’ve seen in the greater SA area for some time.
Greens were semi tricky and well kept.
A great bonus is the freshwater/Comal Springs on seemingly every hole. Nice touch.
It’s always nice to see a course that takes pride in their conditions and maintain them for the public.
I will definitely be back. Highly recommends especially for the price.

Over priced
They really need to discount green fees on days when they are conducting water treatment operations. Holes 2-5 are a joke. Also don't let so many Californians on the course. They litter and disrespect property.

Great course
The course is looking better and better by the day! The greens are almost back to being what they’ve always been before which is beautiful and the fairways were like carpet!

Directional Signs Leave Something Lacking
The course was in excellent condition. The greens were great, the fairways were great and the tee boxes were good. It had rained a lot so the bunkers were a little soggy and not fluffy but that was to be expected.
The big problem was that the paths from one hole to the next had lots of twists and turns and there could have been much better directional signage. We had a lot of trouble finding #7. We had trouble throughout the day finding the right tee box.
It’s also really hard to get a morning tee time because of tournaments and groups. I wish there was one day each week where the morning tee times were up for grabs. I probably won’t play there again until the fall because it will be too hot to play in the afternoon.
I would like to see them better maintain the netted practice area, balls can escape through the netting and there are no rubbery tees to practice the driver.
Simply a great round. Every time!
I love this course. One of the cheapest rounds of golf in the area but some of the best conditions! It’s no TPC course or private club level conditions but the greens here just as good as the other courses around charging $70/round. The course is a little short but makes for a good time even if you’re not shooting your best. Lot’s of birdies to be made out here but not without a little bit of a fight. I find myself taking less than driver on more than a couple holes which I like because it makes you really think and even though it’s not a long course, you get one of everything: a long par 5, long par 4, short par 4s, and challenging par 3s. No driving range is the only reason I haven’t looked into an annual membership. Will always recommend this course!

Oh lander is one of the premier courses in the new Braunfels San Antonio area. The course layout, course maintenance and price in my opinion makes them a great place to go play golf
