About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Great course!
My first round at Linda Park was very enjoyable. The course was in great shape and the layout challenging and interesting. I’m 70 and played with 3 enjoyable teenagers who guided me around the course. I shot 85. Can’t wait for my second round!

Tournament Play

We played on a day when the course was very busy. The pace of play was slow. The pro shop personnel were very helpful and friendly. The course is in decent shape considering how hot it has been

Great staff
Everything was great except hole 10. They have a problem with GPS dead spot. Everybody's cart got locked down. Need to fix that, please. Could use some more directional signage for the casual players who only play once a month. Staff was extremely friendly. Had a good time, even though it was 106 degrees.

Golf outing
Had a great outing. Our foursome was able to play at a steady pace, we weren’t ever rushed or bogged down. Course was in great shape aside from some of the tee boxes, but even those were pretty lush.
Service at the bar was good prior to our round, and we were able to get a sandwich at the turn very quickly. Only minor critique is that we would have liked to have seen the bev cart more than once, but that wouldn’t keep us from coming out again or recommending to others.

Great Value!
For the price, the course is an outstanding value. The greens were in very good shape. The fairways had some bad spots, but mostly in good shape. The bunkers were thinly sanded. The layout is the downside, as there are many side by side holes, leaving a lot of "fore" calls. The course is fairly short, but there are plenty of strategic decisions and some places you just don't want to go. As a first timer, I was glad to play with others who knew the course, as there were some blind hazards. I would play there again for sure.
