About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Great time at Landa!
I had a 7:50 tee time. They sent me off at 7:35, which worked out great for me. The course was in good shape considering the drought conditions here. The greens were in really good shape. The Staffage very friendly and helpful. The deer along the course are amazing. I became a member last year and it’s been money well spent! I will definitely renew next year!

Like the layout of the course; however, what interrupted the condition of the course is the extremely hot weather and lack of rain this summer. Overall, for what the people at the course had to work with, it was a great experience with a lot of friendly people.

Play could not be slower
The course is in good condition except heavily sanded greens make judging putt speed impossible. Pace of play is always slow on this course but it was unbearable from hole 7 - 18. There were two groups waiting on every tee box for 10 to 12 minutes to tee off then 5 minutes between every shot. A 5 hour round in 103 degree heat was not enjoyable. They need a marshall.

Great course!
My first round at Linda Park was very enjoyable. The course was in great shape and the layout challenging and interesting. I’m 70 and played with 3 enjoyable teenagers who guided me around the course. I shot 85. Can’t wait for my second round!
