About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Great course and great value
The course was very fun and in pretty good shape. Not too difficult but still an interested layout. Great value and I would highly recommend.
Directional Signs Leave Something Lacking
The course was in excellent condition. The greens were great, the fairways were great, and the tee boxes were good. It had rained a lot so the bunkers were a little soggy and not fluffy but that was to be expected.
The big problem was that the paths from one hole to the next had lots of twists and turns and there could have been much better directional signage. We had a lot of trouble finding #7. We had trouble throughout the day finding the right tee box.
It’s also really hard to get a morning tee time because of tournaments and groups. I wish there was one day each week where the morning tee times were up for grabs.
I probably won’t play there again until the fall because it will be too hot to play in the afternoon.
I would like to see them better maintain the netted practice area, balls can escape through the netting and there are no rubbery tees to practice the driver.

I had to ask directions to find the next hole, accross the road
Beautiful course, friendly Deer and Ducks
Nice fairways fair Greens Lots of water, lost a few balls.
What I hated was not knowing where the next Tee Box was. Had to drive around a lot and ask directions. Some better signage would help.
I will play again and enjoy it more !

Love this course!! One of South Texas' hidden gems. The staff is always great and its a nice track. They do an awesome job of maintaining the course and it was in great shape.... fairways looked better than the carpet in my bedroom....even if I struggled to hit them.

Lands Park golf course need some wirk
The greens are in horrible shape. Many off the holes require cart path only, making it longer to play.

Course was in Great Shape but Sand on Greens
The tee boxes and fairways were excellent for this time of year. The greens which are usually quick were heavily sanded which made putting difficult ft or speed and accuracy. Probably will be great once there is a good rain to settle the sand.

Horrible greens!
Oh my were the greens in terrible shape. No telling where your ball will bounce once you putt it. I missed a few putts from my ball hitting holes as it rolled. The fair way is nice looking but very tight and difficult to take a decent divot. The grass on the course is unique in a bad way. Layout of the course was good and was a very scenic experience with literally over 100 deer roaming. I will play elsewhere.

The greens were very bad
I came here because the reviews all seemed to be very good. Every single green was horrible. Half of the green was bumpy with lots of sand, and the other half was completely dried out dead spots off 6ft-20ft long. The guys I played with said it’s the worst they’ve seen them and did say it’s usually much better. The fairways/tee boxes were solid. The staff was very friendly. I thought 45$ for a morning tee time was a steal, but it’s actually a bit much for the greens being so bad

Great overall experience!
The 2 gentlemen at the pro shop was very helpful and polite. They paired me with 3 young men, we had a great time during our round , the course was in great condition even after a slight rain. After my round I went to the bar/grill and had a great turkey club, a shout out to the 2 young ladies to was working the counter, I’m sorry I can’t remember names .this was my 3rd round of golf at Landa and it was as great as the last 2 trips. If you are in the New Braunfels area you have to come play Landa park golf course. P.S. I’m booked for my 4th round tomorrow the 22nd.
