About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

The course was amazing and I’ll definitely recommend to others that haven’t played there before. The fairways were perfect as well as the greens… Some reminders I have to tell you is they don’t have a driving range, and there was a lot of people walking on the courses during end of front nine and beginning of back nine because of a festival going on. Plus getting to the parking lot was a little hard while the festival was going on, so don’t we wary of anything that might occur. I would say make sure no events are going on when you schedule your tee time here. But I ensure you I’ll definitely play this course again as I loved it… Make sure to start at @2pm if you want to get all 18 holes in before it gets dark. I started at @3pm and we got 14 holes done until 6pm when it was completely dark (daylight savings)

Pace of Play and Course layout
We were behind a foursome with one learner. We waited every shot and there was a backup behind us. The course Marshall was driving around and spending too much time taking golf shots at several openings. Not once did he speak to the foursome to pick up the pace. We eventually quit after 15 holes.
As for the course layout, holes 7, 8 9 and 10 locations are confusing.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Amazing experience
We play throughout the country in our travels, and despite the drought that has hit the Texas region the fairways and greens were picture perfect.
The fairways are fast and so are the greens. It took me several holes before I figured the speed in which I needed to putt.
Excellent job to the crew that makes this course so amazing.
We will definitely play here again the next time we travel through the area.

Very Nice City Course
This is one of the best city coursers I have ever played. Although the pace can be slow at times due to no Marshall, the course is well kept and maintained. The staff is friendly and the bar is always a fun time.

Great shape
Impressive, some of the smoothest and fastest greens we've played all year. Always enjoy a visit to this course , when we get the chance. It's difficult to get a tee time. Tee times fill up Fast!

Great Outing
The course was in great shape, especially since we have been in a severe drought. The greens were in excellent shape and rolling true. My group was a foursome playing behind a foursome and pace of play was excellent, finishing 15 minutes ahead of pace. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.

Great Golf Course
I love playing at this course. Although it is a fairly easy course but it can humble you very quickly if you make bad shots. The greens are awesome and true to their speed. The scenery is beautiful, between river views and the Hill Country it makes for an enjoyable round. You do, however, have to protect your snacks around holes 13 and 14 because the deer are not shy about ransacking your cart (LOL). Staff is very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience possible. Most definitely will be returning to Landa Park for future rounds.
