About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Great experience!!
I had a great round of golf Thursday , so I booked a tee time for Friday . The course was in great shape, especially for the amount of play this course gets. The gentleman in the pro shop was very friendly and really helped me with my tee time and cart. The wildlife and the river on the course was beautiful, it is a fair but challenging course, if you are in the new Braunfels area I recommend you giving it a try. Next time in town I will definitely play Landa park again.

Landa golf course is in great playing condition with winter grass over seeding. It’s an outstanding value. Many thanks to the grounds personnel and golf shop staff.

Great experience!
My first time playing Landa park was great,, from the friendly gentleman that welcomed me to the course in the clubhouse, the young lady at the pub, to the gentleman sending off tee times . The course was beautiful, the river views, the deer, and all the wildlife was really a treat . If I could give it 10 stars I would. My best review is that I’m playing it again tomorrow. If you haven’t played Landa park, play it soon!

Excellent course for a great price
The course was well kept and in excellent condition. The layout was challenging but exceeded expectations. The course amenities were adequate and I highly recommend this course to anyone. One of the best municipal courses I have ever played.

OUT FREAKING STANDING
I’ve played the course a few times with my group and we don’t get an opportunity to rate the course so went and played with a good and really appreciate the overall cleanliness, superb conditions and Great Value you receive at Landa. Definitely my Top 3 courses to play the San Antonio area

Overcrowded
Yes we had a late tee time and had expectations to only play 9 holes, but our 4pm start time was actually 420 due to backup on 1st tee.
It took 30 minutes to play first 2 holes once teed off, and only played 7 holes for the day.
Very disappointed in the lack of course marshaling.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. The course was amazing and I’ll definitely recommend to others that haven’t played there before. The fairways were perfect as well as the greens… Some reminders I have to tell you is they don’t have a driving range, and there was a lot of people walking on the courses during end of front nine and beginning of back nine because of a festival going on. Plus getting to the parking lot was a little hard while the festival was going on, so don’t we wary of anything that might occur. I would say make sure no events are going on when you schedule your tee time here. But I ensure you I’ll definitely play this course again as I loved it… Make sure to start at @2pm if you want to get all 18 holes in before it gets dark. I started at @3pm and we got 14 holes done until 6pm when it was completely dark (daylight savings)
