About
Osprey Point Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf. The location of the three nine-hole courses was formerly used as farmland but after years of non-use, the landscape had become completely overgrown. The Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County transformed the terrain into a lush and scenic public course that offers three different 18-hole combinations. The department wanted it to be a certified Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course, so they increased the acres of natural habitat, converted to more environmentally friendly grass, and instituted a number of environmental protection efforts. It is the first golf course in Florida to earn this designation. The Hawk/Raven Course is one of the combinations at the club. It has a player-friendly layout that is made even more approachable with five sets of tees.

Always great
Osprey point is in great shape and is always a pleasure to play.
It's a golfers course, good strategy, rewards good play, punishes bad shots, grass is great.
Definitely will be back.

Great course to play. No carts off of cart paths was strictly enforced as it should be in extremely wet conditions. By sticking to enforcing such common sense decisions this course will continue to be one of the best in South Florida. Great no nonsense dedicated employees are much appreciated.

I don’t understand why they don’t impose the 90 degrees rule while the course was very very wet, to preserve this so beautiful golf course.

As for allowing the carts on wet fairways ... the paspalum grass that we use is extremely tough and if it's not too, too wet, it holds up great -- and looks great, too!
Amazing!
Best course I have ever played (and best round). Some narrow fairways but the layout/distance of the course is phenomenal. Went out on Falcon/Raven and had a great time. The putting/chipping greens are large and great practice.
Beverage cart comes around the course quite consistently and they are extremely friendly.
Warning: The greens are well taken care of and extremely fast! Even a little rain after hole 6, the greens were still zooming!

Outstanding
This golf course was amazing!!! The conditions were perfect. Greens rolled very true and had zero blemishes. Fairways were thick and allowed the ball to sit up. Can't wait to play it again. The caddy shack guys even gave me some tees. ( I was traveling and didn't have my bag)

Fantastic Course
For a municipal course, it is in fantastic shape. The greens rolled true, and the tee boxes and fairways were in excellent shape. The practice facilities are also first rate. Due to the location of this course, the scenery is tremendous -- there are no houses or condos on the course like many Florida courses. Plenty of wildlife too. I highly recommend this place.
We here at Palm Beach County Golf are doing everything we can to change the game in municipal golf. Reviews like this let us know our efforts are being noticed. Thank you so much for checking us out.
Osprey Pont is always a pleasure
Firm greens and interesting lay out with a nice blend of scoring holes and a few difficult ones to balance out the design. The conditions is always good even with all the rounds played on it.
Thank you so much for the five-star review. Your description of the course is spot on. We're not the longest track around, but with a good mix of holes, you have to keep your guard up for all 18 holes. We'll see you again soon.
Great course
I always enjoy playing Osprey Point. This time, the fairways were pretty wet but carts were allowed. The greens were excellent & the putts rolled beautifully. I should have made a few more birdies, but the fault was mine! We enjoyed ourselves & played in under 4 hours. The staff is always super here!

Can't believe there was a Hurricane there. Course was in magnificent shape. Cart girls are always friendly and hot.

Great course
Great course, pace of play was what was expected. One of the best courses in South Florida. Starters and cart guys are super friendly and helpful. Staff in pro shop are a bit dry...but no biggie really...

Top Of The Line Public Course in South Fla.
Outstanding Course!!! By far, the nicest public course that I played in South Fla. Because of recent Hurricane, some parts were waterlogged,, but most impressive. Extremely well maintained. Very friendly staff and a they we're helpful!!! Had heard the hype about this course, and was not disappointed. Will play again before the season starts, knowing full well it will be impossible to play during that time. Highly Recommend!!!
