Osprey Point Golf Club - Hawk/Falcon Course
About
Located in South County Regional Park, Osprey Point Golf Club offers the first course in Florida to be designated as an Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course. You would never be able to tell from looking at it now, but the site was farmland before it was used for shellrock mining and then abandoned. The landscape had been overgrown but the Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County transformed it into a lush and scenic course. The golf course is a 27-hole layout that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. All of the tees, greens, and fairways feature environmentally friendly Seashore Paspalum. The Hawk/Falcom combination has a gently rolling landscape enhanced with native vegetation. The elevation changes are subtle but they still provide a few tricky lies.

Copley, OH Review
Fully enjoyed Osprey today. Would HIGHLY recommend this course for locals and vacationers. Will definitely be back.
Very Disappointing
Walk up with a 4some. 4-5 bag guys, not one of them acknowledged us until we asked what carts we should take. Playing the tips is not accommodating. At times, we had a 40 yard walk which can be typical, however on most holes, bc of the design, you can't see the hole without also walking up to the tee box. Creating a scenario where you had to bring multiple clubs or make trips back to the cart. It was only a little wet in a few places but still cart path only for the entire course so basically ended up walking a lot of it; again bc of the layout. All this slowed down our rate of play. And although we were still on pace for a 4 hour round, the unfriendly ranger Angelo gave us a hard time then babysat us while we literally ran to our balls for the next 2 holes so he would leave our group. After just paying $360, I would expect a little more discretion. I don't see the value in ever playing this course again.
Excelent experience.
Nice golf course, good Greens and fairways.
Everithyng it’s coordinated by the friendly staff.
Good pro shop and restaurant.
Beautiful scenery
What I loved about the course was that each hole was unto itself. Couldn't see adjacent holes and no homes on the course!
Fun to play
Steve Ryder
Booked course but pro shop did not honor my golf now price. Insisted I pay more plus tax first time that’s ever happened to me.
Good news/bad news
The Good News; I can write the Falcon course is nice, great shape, not friendly if you stray off the tee. Nothing tricked up though. I would love to tell you about the Raven course, but never made it. I played alone at 4:38 and with daylight these days, should have been able to get in around 13-15 holes. However, a foursome in front of me never acknowledged me, never let me through, not even after I return a club left behind on a green. There was no one to prod them either. Once I saw they were teeing off on the next nine, I left. It's impossible to get a weekend tee-time on this course and it's highly thought of. I don't know if I can ever get back here unless it's another twilight round and that's a race against time.
Golfnow screwed us over
I made my golf now reservation the week prior, and we got to the course and they said. they had no record of my reservation.. jt was embarrassing and awful dealing with that situation. They had to sneak
Us on and we were backed up the whole time because Golfnow and the course did not communicate about my reservation. Very unhappy about this and makes me think twice about becoming a member
Unceremoniously slow green - Unlike Osprey
I had a fantastic time playing Falcon and Raven. The course was in great shape, except for the greens, which were very slow. Thus, it made score a little higher than expected. I can't wait to go back. Hopefully the greens will be a lot faster.
If you have ALL DAY!
This is a fairly nice facility that needs someone to take charge of. This is the second time out of a hand full of rounds at this course that was excruciatingly slow. If you enjoy five plus hours for a round, have at it!
No
Was shocked at how poor the conditions of the fairways and greens were. Packed groups on the holes like sardines. Would not recommend this course.
Great golf course
Beautiful views. Everyone kept up the pace really well for a public course. Would definitely return.
Another Disaster at Osprey Point
I should not have time to write this review while on the course. But 3-1/2 hours to play 13 holes makes it easy. “Player Assistant” said “I don’t know what to do.” Management is destroying what used to be a great course.
Hi there, we would love to hear more about your experience and ask that you please send an email to golf@pbcgov.org with your contact info and the day and time that you played. We look forward to getting to the bottom of this for you. Cheers.
Osprey Delight!
It's always a treat to go play at Osprey. Course condition is always fantastic and enviable.
Thank you so much for the excellent review. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
We can't wait for your return... we'll keep the course in great shape for you!
