StoneCrest Golf Course

The course is beautiful, very challenging, and always love playing here. The weekends are busy so the peso Clay is pretty slow. It took over five hours for our group of three. Driving range, clubhouse, food, professionalism. We’re all awesome! I’m sure this is one of the top courses in Kentucky and the United States.

Has become very pricy without discounts . But excellent course and super friendly staff . Challenging yet still fun . They maintain the course superbly . A must play when in east Ky.

Phenomenally kept fairways and the smoothest greens I’ve ever played. Definitely would like to play again.

Finally made it back to Stonecrest and it was a fun day on the course. There was a HUGE group playing a scramble in front of us so the starter allowed us to start on 10 since we were a two some. This allowed our pace of play to flow until we got to the 15th when we caught back up with the scramble groups.

Greens were really rolling and breaking. Most head well and you could spin a ball. Tee boxes were pretty beat up and some had bare ground on them.

The fairways are a mess. They had mowed grass I’m guessing the day prior and then were using jet blowers to blow the heavy grass into the rough. Several holes we had to wait for the 3 workers to move along so we could hit. Other than one hole, they did not move aside so we could hit. Several fairways were very wet and had standing water in holes. Had several balls that landed off the drive and would plug. A couple fairways we had to move the ball because it was too wet to get good footing.

Did use the driving range but the Top Golf Tracer system was not working making 12.50 for a bucket of balls robbery. The range does allow you to hit from grass or Matt’s winch was nice.

The restaurant was great as always.

All together, enjoyed the course. It’s really come along way since starting to play it 3 years ago.

Great little course, and super friendly staff. Fairways and greens are very well maintained, but the tee boxes need a little love. Overall, would recommend! Beautiful course!

One of the most picturesque tracks I've ever played

Well kept, great staff, challenging but plays great for all skill levels .

I’ve played Stonecrest a few times over the years but this was my first time here since recent improvements. Course was in great condition…the best I’ve seen it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Starter gave us great info about the updated tee positions and things to watch for on the course. Being a holiday, the course was busy but we played a four hour round and only saw a few other groups all day, which is a testament to the spacious layout of the course.

3rd or 4th time playing here and same as usual. Excellent conditions and great people. I play every time we come to see family and it is always great.

The group ahead of us was slow but overall a good day golfing.

Hubby & I have a goal to play in all 50 states. This was #19. Gorgeous course up & down mountain. Very picturesque. Staff was friendly & helpful .
