Affects of crazy weather
Course was in good shape given that we either have pouring rain or 100° temps. A couple of the greens are starting to be affected, but this is still the best value in the area. Staff are the best!
Great value!!
As a senior, I always look for value and this course provides it. Great rate for the Monday-Thursday senior golfer. Tough layout, excellent greens and fairways. Joy to play !
Very fun, unique course
Love this course, very interesting layout, have to keep
It in play but if you think your way around the course you can post a good number. Very nice conditions.
Latest round at Eagle Ridge Golf course
Wife and I played a round and enjoyed it even though it was a little hot and muggy. Course was in good shape for how hot it has been, and was not crowded at all. It’s a tough course but I love playing it. Wife is just starting out but she hit some good shots.and enjoyed it too! Definitely will be back soon.
Great challenging course
Excellent course if you want a true challenge, you will use about every club in your bag. Course in excellent condition with the exception of the bunkers being worked on and not playable. Greens are true and roll great.
EN June 2022
Fairways have greened up and are lush, greens are receptive and moderately quick. Bunkers have essentially been abandoned- no maintenance, no rakes, weeds starting to grow. Fantastic layout, very challenging, large fun if you pay attention to the “cheat sheet” full of local knowledge..
Great place
Course is tight and penalizes severely for errant shots. However play to middle of fairway and it’s a very fun and scenic course to play. Greens and fairways are outstanding but most bunkers have been totally neglected. Best to lift out behind without penalty.
Overall a joy to play
Greens were running slow. Rest of course wasn’t bad.
Played many times here. The manager even when she is nice still comes across grouchy.
Eagle Ridge conditions
Probably the toughest course I’ve ever played. Nice tees, fairways and greens. Sand traps were in terrible condition. They need much attention. Course rated better if bunkers were addressed. Good for the money but could be rated much better with that extra effort.
Great Value - Challenging Course
The beautiful scenery on this track will be hard to top. It is target gol, so keep it in play and dial in your irons. It is a hidden gem in my opinion. Well worth the money and the trip to play this course.
4/13
Early season, fairways still dormant, greens recently aereated and shaggy, bunkers poorly maintained if at all. Fantastic layout and friendly staff. Make sure you get the hints sheet and consider playing the more forward tees if you’re unfamiliar with the course.
Greens were bad, crazy layout
I get that it’s still spring and things are not in pristine condition and I’m a very average to below average player who plays some bad courses anyways but the greens were very, very bad. Fairways and everything else were decent for the time of the year but it was literally impossible to truly putt with all the sand and mounds of dirt on the green and ball marks.
Price was cheap with a hot deal so it did reflect that and this is truly one of the hardest courses I’ve ever played and I would go back if that improved but not knowing that the greens were still in that bad of shape.
My Favorite Course in Kentucky
This is my favorite course in KY by far. This is one of the most stunning and unique courses that I have played. I can not imagine how much the cart paths alone cost to build, but I am glad they built everything. The views and wow-factor holes seems to never end. The tee shot on 13 is worth the price of admission alone.
Humbling
A phenomenal layout, visually intimidating target golf from the tee boxes. Carved from the hills and valleys, multiple forced carries over ravines, blind shots, steeply slanted fairways, elevated tees and greens. Reminiscent of a Pete Dye course without the railroad ties. Excellent late-fall conditions overall but several greens were heavily littered with leaves. Take lots of balls, leave your ego in the parking lot and pay close attention to the provided course guide sheet.
