Trump International Golf Links Scotland

I've been lucky enough to play many great courses all over Scotland, Ireland and the US. Trump International Aberdeen ranks among the very best. A true links layout that, unlike many others, stays by the sea for all 18 holes. The front nine is a particular delight with every hole a jaw dropper, but the back nine is no slouch. While conditions were nearly ideal (warm and sunny) a 3 club wind blew in from the west all day--making the experience more authentic!

Staff was outstanding including the pro shop staff, player hosts and starter. My wife had a stroke a few years ago and can no longer play. The staff arranged for her to ride a buggy (power cart for you Americans😉) on the back nine so she could at least see much of the course for herself. Real class!!

Make northern Scotland a "go to" with Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart, Brora, Cruden Bay, Royal Aberdeen and Trump International Aberdeen making for an unforgettable week.

Fantastic staff, from the pro shop to the starter, to the restaurant. Course was in excellent condition, with a wide variety of interesting holes. Good to have a variety of tees to make sure you could choose the length to fit your abilities, something other courses here need to do more of. We played in a 1-2 club wind, I can only imagine how difficult it might be if the wind were stronger. Politics aside, if you can play this course at $225 or less, it’s worth doing.

This is probably the best golf courses I’ve ever played and I’ve played many bucket list courses! From the great Scottish dunes to playing along side the ocean and the windmills off in the distance. The course is immaculate and beautiful no matter where you are on the course. Beautiful clubhouse and amazing staff as well, I would say a MUST GOLF when in Scotland! Just don’t miss the fairway!

I have played the #1 golf course in the world...royal County down. trump beats it! the spectacular scenary...immaculate grass conditions....perfectly raked bunkers...the awesome pro shop....the impeccable practice facilities....the amazingly difficult course....LOVE IT!!! if you are a good golfer, you need to test your abilities here....make sure you can play into the wind and accurate as there is nonfinding balls in the rough of the dunes. if you aren't playing well, at least, its the most stunning walk you will ever have!

The course was in excellent condition, very tricky to play in the wind however the choice of different tee boxes is a help

Asked som players coming off Hole 9, is it worth the price to play a round here? They just looked at each other and smiled. We decided to play, and thank you!!! This was an experience for a lifetime.

Perfect fairways, greens, bunkers. And…. Best view you can get in Scotland!!

The course is absolutely superb. There is not a bad, or weak, hole in the 18. You have to be true and straight with all your tee shots to have any chance of getting into the greens. You also have to be longish as well as some of the holes are monsters....especially the 18th. The fairways are in excellent condition and the greens are very good. It is a lot of money but at £125 it is worth it.

One of the best golf course , I used to play. If anyone never plays here, I suggest to play.

This is a golf course that you gotta play. If you are truely love golf. It’s fantastic golf course I ever play.

This course is tremendous. The layout and scenery is breathtaking and not for the faint hearted. You have to be bold in your shot selection especially with the wind and elevations. I played on a Golf Now hot deal that was excellent value and there was hardly anyone on the course so pace was great. Play the tees appropriate to your handicap as it is imperative to hit fairways due to the punishing rough. In hindsight, I would have played the ones further up to give myself the best opportunity to savour the course and experience.

Played over 150 courses in Scotland, can honestly say this course is up there in the top 3 if not the best, course was in beautiful condition, best greens I've ever putted on staff very friendly and helpful, superb short game practice area. £150 was paid but worth every penny. Got lucky with perfect weather conditions. Expect it would be an absolute brut in windy conditions, overall a brilliant golfing experience.

This golf course is simply spectacular. I’d been told very good things but it is way better than that. The condition is superb but the landscape and course layout are jaw-dropping. The day I played it was 40mph winds and rain squalls but even the horrendous weather conditions didn’t detract from this place. Obviously it’s very expensive and the showers/changing facilities are average at best but the golf course is incredible.

Came to Trump with high expectations and I was not disappointed! Wow. Me and my friends were blown away by the facilities, staff friendliness before even setting foot on the course. Every hole was beautifully designed and unique. You rarely saw other players on the course due to the way the dunes were set up. I took a photo on every hole because I want to show everybody when I get home. We will definitely be back

Played Trump International on 15/9/22. Course was excellent, greens average pace but in great condition. Layout of the course is stunning as the holes sweep through and around the dunes. A tough track with a strong NW wind that was only really at our backs on the 13th hole. Scores reflected this but it did not detract from the day.

Enjoyed the course, as always, and in great condition.

Fantastic course played white tees very challenging into wind not a course to be wild on ,' disappointed no hot food available on the day

What a man, what a course, what an experience, cant fault anything, from the welcome and starter pack to breakfast to the range and chipping green and putting green all 5 star facilities, highly recomend a sausage roll at halfway
