Nice 9 hole course
A nice 9 hole course with a good variety of par 3 & 4 holes. However the fairways are narrow and the rough is trees so used a lot of balls.
Tight Aldenham Village Course
First time on this course. due to make up a 4-ball but only one other turned up who was a good company and similar standard. Tee’d off 10 minutes late behind a beginner and 9 holes took 1 hr 35 mins. Course was in fair condition and greens were slick and well tended. Some narrow fairways and tightness of greens with respect to adjacent tees and boundary trees required straight and accurate tees shots ands positioning was key to a good round.
Good 9 hole course for practice and/or improvement
9 hole course, was reasonably priced for an early sat morning round, which might explain why it was so busy. Course was in good condition.
Not the longest course, but still more than enough of a challenge for an improver like me.
The course does also make me keen to try out their 18-hole course!
Best nine holes course in Herts
A lovely, well maintained nine hole course.
got the special deal so played a three ball with two other people who did know each other, we got on very well, a good way to meet fellow golfers.
One person had not played there before and could not believe how nice the course was for the amount of green fee paid .
First Round
First time on the 9-Hole. Lovely course, fast greens were a challenge!
Tee times too close
8 minutes between tee times is insufficient and caused backlog.
Great 9 holer
Course in good condition and a decent enough challenge for the average golfer...certainly not a pushover. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent course for the money
I’ve played once before and I wasn’t disappointed coming back with a higher handicap friend. The greens are superb for the price/a 9 hole course and was far better than a local 18 hole I’d played a few days before. I’d recommend the course to anyone wanting to try out a longer 9 hole course. Some nice challenging and picturesque holes.
good short course
Fabulous greens. Mix of Par 3 and Par 4 holes.
Very tight-tests your game as a beginner.
