Aldersey Green Golf Club

First time playing Aldersey. Was not disappointed, well worth a visit. Course is in excellent condition and greens superb. Found course to be challenging in places, plenty of tree lined fairways and water hazards. Need to careful off the tee, but other than that it’s great to play. Suits all levels of golfer ability. Can’t rate facilities as yet, but staff friendly and pleasant. Would recommend.

Never disappointed Recommended

The course was in great condition and the greens were running very fast. Small greens with water hazards very close by made it a challenge but the condition of the course made it easy to score well. A couple of par threes played over 200 yards which was a challenge but the day was made easier by a drivable par four on the tenth. Would highly recommend the course. Well worth the price I paid.

I have played many courses in the area and can’t believe this is the first time I’ve played here. The course was in good condition and the greens were very receptive. The only slight gripe would be that the bunkers need more sand in, that said they aren’t difficult to get out of. The pace of okay was great, although there were plenty of other players we were not held up once.

There are practice nets, a large putting green and a very large driving/practice area. The layout is testing in places, a god test for all handicaps. There are long Par 3s, short Par 4s, decent Par 5s, got the lot. A real hidden gem with complete value for money. Definitely will be back.⛳️

Aldersey green is a great course for great value.

Greens do have some wormhole mud but nothing that can’t be removed. Considering the dry conditions over the last two months the course was green all over and has been maintained really well.

I prefer this course to Carden parks courses and it’s great value for money. We had a hot deal for 16 each at 2:20. I got in touch with pro shop who changed tee time to earlier time of 1 on request,

There was a lot of fourballe which made pace of play very slow. The course is lovely in beautiful surroundings unfortunately the greens weren’t the best

The course is layed out fairly well, plenty of water, but shouldn't come into play on the majority of holes. The greens are on occasions a bit uneven. ( shame people can't be bothered to repair their pitch marks ) The drainage seems to be an issue on the fairways. You would expect a bit of run at this time of year, and I understand there has been a fair amount of rain, however

every tee shot was plugged. Little bit disheartening when you've hit a decent shot...... Can't really comment on the second nine as had to bale out early due to family commitments....
