Nice course but only 9 holes and no showers

Nice course in decent condition. However £20 as a 'hot deal' is a stretch when there's only 9 holes and no showers facilities

Enjoyable 9 hole course

I’ve played at Allerthorpe a few times now and I really enjoyed it. As a high handicapper, the course is not too challenging but plenty of hazards to keep it interesting.

Nice staff and fellow golfers

Typical holiday course

Course was in okay condition, tees boxes well warn, covered in sand.

Holiday makers wandering all over the course like nomads, with antique sticks, lost.

Was better than I thought it would be.

Typical holiday course.

Was in better condition than expected, tees a bit warn out and greens where okay.

Holiday makers wandering around the course like nomads with their antique sticks.

Apart from that was an enjoyable day.

Nice friendly 9 hole course

Tight course with narrow fairways in average condition. Bunkers poorly maintained and greens a little patchy and inconsistent.

Had an excellent meal afterwards at the onsite restaurant.

Great day

The weather was perfect so sets an enjoyable day for the word go. 9 holes x 2. Good layout. The greens generally good but a few had black burn marks. Good pace no one really pushing us 4. Restaurant food was very good too. Would do it again.

Allerthorpe

Course was quiet. Fairways were fine but greens need some care and attention. May return as it’s local for me and I’m playing with a beginner

Little disappointed as I was a member here 10+ years ago

Value for money

Recently played as part of a 3 ball and thought the course was great value for the price .

Some tricky holes to contend with ,loved the 9th /18th hole over the water .

Pace of play was quite slow at times but that's just down to who is in front of you .

Overall Found the course enjoyable to play however some of the greens could do with some attention but bearing in mind it is November and was quite wet ,would love to come back and play in the summer.
